Contradiction #14

"God does not want us to suffer pain, and He does not inflict us. The Devil does that" (23 Minutes, p. 103).

We already covered the aspect of whether it is man who assigns himself to hell, or whether it is God Who does this. According to Bills contradictions, both his contradictions are true. Now we will look at who is behind the evils and torture in hell-is it God or is it the Devil?

Now notice how Bill contradicts his own statements on page 15: "...how much worse will it be in Hell when HIS ( GOD'S, not Satan's) wrath is poured out?"

So God "does not want us to suffer pain, and He does not inflict us," yet Bill assures us that it is "GOD'S" wrath that 'GOD" pours out in hell, not the Devil's wrath that the Devil pours out.

On page 154 Bill cites 18 verses of the Bible which he applies to God pouring out punishment and wrath upon all those in Hell, for all eternity. The truth is, not one of those 18 verses has anything to do with Hell, or eternal punishment or wrath, but it would take ten more pages to go through all of them all at this time.

Contradiction #15

Bill makes a weak superficial gesture of compassion toward those in Hell, while he is there among them, but quickly looses it when he is safely back home. And he assures us that God has no such mercy or compassion for those helpless people suffering eternal torture in hell.

"No mercy existed in that place. Mercy is from God in heaven" (23 Minutes in Hell, p. 7). "And I felt pain! I just began to lie on the floor there, crying out for mercy, but these creatures don't have any mercy at all, absolutely no mercy" (p. 3). "There is only mercy in Heaven. Mercy comes from God, and the devil has no knowledge of any kind of mercy, he is totally against that. "Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds" (Psalm 36:5)" (23 Minutes Internet transcript, p. 4). "I was screaming and begging for mercy, but no mercy!" (Internet script, p. 6).

Bill couldn't be plainer in his asserting that God has no mercy for those in hell.

Bill continually justifies God for sending the majority of humanity to an eternal hell of unspeakable torture without any hope of redemption. And we saw in one of our definitions of hell that "...those in Heaven do not feel compassion for the others in hell." So God feels no motivating compassion for those in hell, and supposedly those in heaven "do not feel compassion for the others in hell."

Now get ready for one of the most important and yet most damnable contradictions in all of Bill's teachings. Recap: Christians do not feel pity for those in Hell, Those in heaven feel no pity for those in hell, and God Himself displays absolutely no pity on those in hell. But...BUT, is there anyone who does feel pity, compassion, and a desire to help those in hell? Yes, and here is who that person is: It is Bill himself. As a Christian (with presumably the Holy Spirit of God inside of him), Bill feels no compassion for those in Hell.

Bill is the victim of his own carnality. He can't confess having mercy or compassion on those burning in hell, because he knows that God has no mercy or compassion for them. (Remember how Bill said there is only mercy in heaven, and that there is no mercy in hell?) Bill surely doesn't want to feel sorrow for those in Hell now, because he knows his emotions would then be in contradiction with what he perceives those of God to be. So he avoids telling us how he personally, now feels toward those in hell. If God is determined to keep them there with no chance of future redemption, then certainly Bill must take a similar stance or he will be suggesting that he is more righteous, godly, and merciful than God Himself.

But as he writes his book, he has a moment of human weakness and wants his reader to see these people as "hopeless people," these "defenseless, tormented souls." But he feels that way only when he puts himself in their position without God in his heart. As a presumed spirit-filled Christian, Bill has no real mercy for these "hopeless, defenseless, tormented souls." But as a carnal-minded person in hell without a knowledge of God and without God's spirit, he feels compassion. Here then are his statements from a godless, carnal point of view:

"I found myself in the cell, and these 4 creatures were in the cell with me. I didn't know they were demons at the time, because I went there as an unsaved person. God took it out of my mind that I was a Christian." (Script p. 5).

But as a condemned, carnal-minded, God-rejecting prisoner in hell, Bill does have compassion for these pitiful people:

"I felt such anguish ( agonizing mental pain) for these hopeless people" (23 Minutes, p. 22).

"Now, without the ability to help even one defenseless, tormented soul, I felt the hopelessness deepen. To witness people in terror, in desperation, and in unending torment was more than I could bear" (p. 23).

But now Bill believes that God is fully justified in having these billions of people tortured in 12,000 degree fire for all eternity. Because now, Bill is supposedly saved, has God's spirit, thinks like God thinks, and therefore has no desire to have mercy or compassion on this tormented souls. Neither he, nor God, nor Christians, nor the people in heaven, think that it is wrong or immoral to torture billions of people eternally. But as a NON-Christian, IN HELL, he did have compassion. Gives one reason to question the love and compassion of orthodox Christians, doesn't it?

Does anyone see a mammoth problem with this? Once Bill's knowledge of being a Christian returned to him, He lost his compassion and his mercy for those same people, that just moments earlier, he "felt such anguish for." How does one justify such insane immorality?

Bill says "The truth is, if you have lied, then you are a liar. If you have stolen anything (the value of the item stolen is irrelevant), you are a thief. What you need to hear is the judge's ruling for lying and stealing. Here it is: 'All liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone' (Rev. 21:8). All liars go to hell... If God gives you justice on Judgment Day you will be guilty and end up in hell. Think of it - if you died right now, you would end up in hell forever" (23 Minutes, p. 75 &76). Maybe Bill should follow his own admonition: he lies more in this book than any book I have read in my entire lifetime. I see no sign of Bill repenting of the plethora of lies that line the pages of his book.

We all have to repent of stealing and lying, but the penalty for not repenting is "Judgment," not eternal torture in some God-forsaken Christian hell. The "lake of fire" is a metaphor for judgment, and judgment involves correction and setting things right. God is the Great Judge of the Universe, but what does that mean? How does God judge. What do His judgments accomplish? The Scriptures state:

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" (Gen. 18:25).

The word "right" in this verse means according to Strong's Hebrew Lexicon: "...abstractly justice, including a particular right, or privilege ...to be judged, judgment, justice." In the Greek, the first definition given by the Greek-English Keyword Concordance is to "set right." Notice how the following Versions translate this verse:

"The Judge of the entire earth, will He not execute judgment?" (The Concordant Literal Old Testament)

"Shall, the Judge of all the earth not do justice?" (Rotherham's Emphasized Bible)

"...does the Judge of all the earth not do justice?' (Young's Lit. Translation)

So it is evident that "judge" & "justice" are virtually synonymous, and they both involve doing "right," or setting things right-correction.

For a detailed Scriptural study on the "lake of fire is the second death," be sure to read Installment 12 of my "Lake of Fire" series entitled: "God Judges the World in a POND." The lake of fire has absolutely nothing to do with the pagan Christian doctrine of an eternal hell of torture.

In our American judicial system, even if one is found guilty of a heinous crime, and sentenced for that crime, where do we send them? To a torture camp? No-to a "Correctional Facility." And such facilities usually come under some state department of "Correctional Services." The emphasis and goal of such institutions is "correction"-setting a wrong, right, not on physical torture for absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever!

God's Judgments on this wicked world are not only righteous, but His Judgments give hope and assurance to the entire human race:

"Because He has appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man ( Jesus) Whom He has ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He ( God) hath raised Him ( Jesus) from the dead" (Acts 17:31).God's Judgments produce good and meaningful results: "...for when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world WILL learn righteousness" (Isaiah 26:9).

But just as in Paul's day, who believes this "report" by Isaiah?

"But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah said, Lord, who hath believed our report? (Rom. 10:16).

Why are the doctrines of Christendom far more evil and immoral than the laws of even some of the most despotic and corrupt nations? What would we think of a nation that would condemn a person who told a lie or stole a pencil, to life in solitary confinement? Yet such a punishment cannot even be compared to Bill's claim that all liars and thieves will "...end up in hell forever."

Where in the world did the Church ever come up with the idea that people are right now suffering in this Christian hell (some of them for thousands of years) before they have ever been judged?

Theologian, John Hagee says: "Every man, every woman, every boy, and every girl who dies without knowing Jesus Christ spends an eternity in a city where the fire is never quenched and the worm dieth not." And this: "For ever and ever all you're going to hear are the screams and sobs and suffering for ever and for ever and for ever, and it's JUSTICE" And the late Dr. D. James Kennedy, Th.D., D.Sac.Theol., Ph.D., D.Sac.Lit., Litt.D., D.D., etc., says that this same Christian hell is "FAIR."

And L. Ray Smith says, "Such statements are borderline insanity!" (How is it possible to have half a dozen religious doctorates after one's name, and not even know what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is?) Ninety percent or more of the entire human race are supposedly going to be burned and tortured for all eternity, and this is the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ? Unbelievable! How sick and utterly disgusting can the human heart get?
