We desire to take Jesus as our pattern

We desire to take Jesus as our pattern in all things.

When in need of direction or guidance in any duty, or under any perplexity—may this be ever our inquiry, " How would the Savior have acted here? "

May we imbibe His unselfish spirit.

May life be a more constant effort than it has been, to crucify self and to please God.
