From the very beginning of Gods revelation to humankind he had revealed His order of creation, especially as it relates to our sexuality. In Genesis I we are told that his purpose in creating the two sexes was so through the sexual union of male and female we could reproduce the race, Gen.1:27-28.."Male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it" . More detail is provided in Genesis 2, in addition to procreation and the continuing of the humanity, there is a need for companionship. Gen. 2:18 "And the Lord God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him"', so he took her from the closest bone near his heart . After God created Eve he presented her to Adam, Adam rejoiced saying out loud "Wowman" that's woman in early communication.
So God instituted how both were to function, as a family "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh" (Gen. 2:24-25). In Gen.2 God ordains the institution of marriage , man finds his unity and completion through someone of the opposite sex, the woman. We are told that the man would 1) 'leave his father and mother," (who were his progenitors) 2) "cleave to his wife," and (only one) 3) "and the two shall become one flesh." From this we find heterosexual couples are God' natural order of creation for marriage. Whether in the Old or the New Testament, whenever the subject of sexuality is discussed the heterosexual relationship of marriage is always upheld, there is no other option. For example, Jesus, answering a question, quotes Genesis 1 and 2: "Have you not: read, that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' and, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they', two shall become one flesh' ? So then, they are no longer two but one, flesh.
Therefore what God has joined together in marriage should not be separated. But there are those who want to have this separation not only for themselves, but as a legal right for anyone who so chooses. Not everyone believes the bibles account, yet history itself shows that this was how it was from the beginning just as the scripture states. How do we know what is right or wrong, can we simply vote on morality? The great Christian philosopher Francis A. Schaeffer said," If there is no absolute beyond man's ideas, then there is no final appeal to judge between individuals and groups whose moral judgements conflict. We are merely left with conflicting opinions."( How Should We Then Live? pg. 145.) This is not like some say of being born right or left handed or an issue of race like being black or white. They claim homosexuality is hereditary just as hetero- sexuality is.
This is not scientifically proven .There are those that are bi- sexual which goes against any hereditary arguments, it is a choice of preference. Heterosexuality is a natural built in biological function of the human anatomy. Homosexuality has always been an extreme minority in all cultures through time. Today there is even a smaller minority in the homosexual minority that want to see their agenda be offered in schools. Books such as Heather has two mommies , Daddy's wedding, Daddy's roommate which are now sold in stores would then be taught in the curriculum as a viable option for their lifestyle. Imagine children being taught that society accepts this as a family relationship. Imagine a future with few families as we know it today. What would you think if you had no grandchildren to look forward to and the family name would no longer be passed on. Sounds eerie and ridiculous ! Well if the homosexual agenda wins this is what our society will be like. Instead of the families of today, they will be families of 2 mothers or 2 fathers. None of which can have children naturally.
Where will they get their children, from adoption through heterosexual's. While there are many couples who can't have children because they are physically unable, this would be the rule for ALL homosexual marriages. They as group who want equal rights depend on out of wedlock births or those who have unwanted children, financially strapped couples to adopt their children. They are dependent on heterosexual couples mistakes. Another consideration is this lifestyle used for population control which we hear of so much today. What if they were to have their way and influenced society so the majority becomes homosexual? Not only would there will be no more traditional families, essentially there will be no children for them to adopt. Their will be no more society, no progeny given enough time. So logic tell us this practice is not natural, because no species would survive. What of the argument of the pursuit of happiness is a constitutional right for all. But what did the framers actually mean. There's a lot of strange things people do for happiness. Would we allow drugs to be apart of ones pursuit to be happy. Some people are happy when they exert power and control over others. Where is the line drawn, we need to make up our minds very soon to meet the challenge. Those who argue against the traditional view of marriage call us intolerant. But this is beyond just tolerance they are demanding over tolerance. If there is no line to stand by, then maybe another group can come along saying we want you fill in the blank . But here are some examples. Those who want polygamist marriage should be allowed to marry more than one partner .
Whose to say it must be for one couple only. This can go beyond a man and woman, woman to woman or man to man, to men to men or women to women. They too have equal rights, who are you to say they can't ! What if Father wanted to marry his daughter or two brothers or sisters want to marry? This is illegal today but under this type of legislation to say no would then be gender discrimination. What if minority groups say they want to lower the age of marriage to 10 years old , how could you argue about that if they so choose? What if they said that children have the right to choose sexual partners at any age, its a matter of freedom and its in the constitution. This can go anywhere once the line of demarcation is removed. If you think not, just look back 20 years ago none of what is happening today would be even be considered. now think 20 years in the future if we do allow this type of marriage to be legal. What Influences their choice? Dr. Irving Bieber did a study on the family background of 106 male homosexuals. ( "What Everyone Should Know About Homosexuality", LaHaye, p.71-72) Dr. Bieber found that 81 mothers were dominating, 62 of the mothers were overprotective, 66 mothers made the homosexual their favourite child. 82 of the fathers spent very little time with their sons . 79 fathers maintained a detached attitude toward them. A dysfunctional family upbringing certainly attributes to their choice. While the reasons can vary among individuals there seems to be a correlation in other studies as well on the Father not being there physically or emotionally while the child is growing up. They then are trying to fill this void by seeking other male companionship emotionally as well as sexually. DISEASE AND DEATH Lets examine the most famous city of all that allowed their activity first. Since San Francisco passed it's gay-rights laws: Hepatitis A increased 100%, Hepatitis B 300% (casual contraction).In the last 10 years 85% of the people who were infected by the aids virus throughout the world were homosexual men. All one has to do is look to the Obituaries of men in homosexual journals to see the facts of their lifestyle.
Most have a average age of death at 39 with AIDS, 42 without AIDS. The average age for lesbians is 45 or younger. 75 to 80% of straight married men live to be 65, while only 2% of homosexuals live to be past 65. A British study of 18,403 homosexuals found little improvement in life-span if they married each other. So marriage may be a legality but will not change the consequences of their lifestyle. The gays do not care about there dangerous lifestyle which spread diseases that can threaten our society affecting the innocent . The still incurable AIDS disease is now found in epidemic proportions and fatal to those contracting it. Yet homosexuals push to legalise the secrecy of this disease among themselves and want equal status in marriage. We need to ask if this is advantageous for our society. An L.A. Times Survey, demonstrates that one-quarter to one-third of child molestation's are homosexual in nature. It is mostly homosexuals, not the straight people, who are responsible for molesting boys! When a man fondles a boy, anyone with common sense says, "That man is a homosexual!" Heterosexual men have no desire to even touch the private parts of another male, it is totally unattractive to them. A Canadian survey monitored the physical response of men, including those who molested boys, on a plethysmograph. Molesters of boys were about equally interested in naked men or naked boys. Heterosexuals were equally disinterested in males of any age.
A Minnesota study reveals that 86% of those who molest boys describe themselves as homosexual or bisexual. The top six male serial killers were homosexuals. 1) Donald Harvey claimed 37 victims. 2) John Wayne Gacy raped and killed 33 boys. 3) Patrick Kearney cut his 32 victims up into small pieces. 4) Bruce Davis molested and killed 27 young men and boys. 5) A homosexual sex-murder-torture ring of Corll, Henley and Brooks sent 27 men and boys to their grave. 6) Juan Corona murdered 25 migrant workers and molested the corpses. The worst female killer of 1992 was lesbian, Aileen Wuornos, killing seven. A study of 518 mass murders involving sex from 1966 to 1983 determined that 68% of the victims were killed by homosexuals, 44% of the murderers were bisexual or homosexual. Why so much cruelty from a small minority ? Because deviant behaviour is contagious and never affects only one person, it has a appetite. It is a known fact that many homosexuals can have numerous sex partners in one night. While we are called homophobic because we look upon their lifestyle with disdain.
They may want to look at their own fear of being heterophobic being repulsed by heterosexuals. The Anus was not made for the function homosexuals use it for, it can haemorrhage. It was created to discharge waste. Its probably the filthiest part of the body, a breeding for bacteria. One editorialist writes: "How can (homosexual) people be happy when they're persistently deceiving themselves, believing that it is just as natural for sperm to swim into faeces as it is to swim into eggs?" This is why God knows better than man and puts restrictions on us for our protection , its prompted by love not to be a despot ruler over us . Lev. 18:22-25 "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. 'Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. 'For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants." This is nothing new it is ancient and God spoke a warning against this behaviour long ago. Should we not heed it ,we too will reap the same punishment. What other species has same sex as mates as the norm and survives. We are suppose to be civilised, not have our lower animal nature rule over us. Newither heterosexual or homosexuals should act like two dogs in heat.
The Bibles prohibition Lev. 20:13 'If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." Israel as nation separated unto God was to be kept pure from the practices of those nations that did not know God or worshipped false gods by their practices. Although these prohibitions explicitly condemn homosexuality called by God as an abomination , we are told by those who practice it that they are not relevant today. Why? First, the pro-homosexual interpretation is that since these condemnations are contained in the "Holiness Code" of Israel, they were only applicable to ancient Israel. In other words this behaviour did not condemn the other nations who practised it but if the Israelites did it, they were condemned. In other words it was only for Israel. Lets look at this logically, if the Canaanites did not practice child sacrifice and bestiality, and other immoral practices ,would these then have been all right for the Israelites? of course not! Having sex with an animal to anyone who thinks rationally is repulsive. Unless they are operating with a whole different set of standards, NONE! Likewise killing one's child is always wrong and evil, even when they are not related to pagan worship; Lev. 18:21-23 both of these prohibitions are addressed in this passage, along with the condemnation of homosexual behaviour. The reason these were forbidden was not because of the other nations practising them , they were not to be practised because they are wrong morally and were so from the beginning, even before Israel To argue this denies that there are eternal moral absolutes.
The Holiness Code contained different types of commands. Some were about ceremonial cleanliness, there was the civil laws and others of dietary regulations (Col. 2:16-17; Rom.14:1-3). The moral codes, that are in the 10 commandments are timeless because they proceeded the 10. Adultery, Incest, child sacrifice, Murder, homosexuality, bestiality, are still forbidden practices before God. When God made a helpmate for Adam it was not another man. The first time this type of activity is recorded in the bible = Gen 18:20 And the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave," Abraham pleads with God not to destroy the righteous with the wicked. But God has seen the infection it had caused. Gen 19:4-8 "Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally." This word to know (yada) is the same used when Adam knew his wife sexually.
This is why it is translated know them carnally and said, "Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly!" Lot recognised this was wicked unfortunately in his haste he did offer what was wrong. 8 "See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof." Lot offered his daughters, of the opposite sex but they refused and in a rage tried to break the door down, the only thing that stopped them was the Lord making them blind. "This is why the sexual act of homosexuality is called sodomy today, it comes from Sodom's judgement. God did not destroy the populace of the secities because they were inhospitable We find a story that presents the bibles view explicitly in Judges 19:22-25 "While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him." The owner of the house went outside and said to them, "No, my friends, don't be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don't do this disgraceful thing. Look, here is my virgin daughter, and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish. But to this man, don't do such a disgraceful thing." But the men would not listen to him.
So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go. "(NIV) Unfortunately his solution was no better than Lots and the girl paid it with her life. I'm sure that it was hard for him to think rationally while men in heat are pounding at your door. Gal 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; Homosexuality is the ultimate end of expressing the freedom one has in their sinful nature. 1 Cor.6:9-10"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders... the word is effeminate, meaning those who are attracted to others of the same sex. Someone who is a Sodomite is committing the sin of Sodom , which was the desire to have sex with the angels that looked like men. Scripture also states nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revellers, nor extortion's will inherit the kingdom of God. If we change this to mean its ok for Homosexuals then we must accept the rest of these law breakers as well. In other words we should actually encourage these practices since homosexuals will inherit the kingdom along with those who do not practice these. Should we legalise prostitution since someone can do what they want to their own body. But Paul does not stop there by naming the sins, he gives hope vs.11 And that is what some of you were.
But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." There is a way out its through Christ. In other words he does not approve of it and is the deliverer from it. To say God made me this way is nonsense it is a choice of lifestyle. There are those who belong to Metropolitan churches claiming that they are gay Christians. If a rapist becomes a Christian does he still go on raping. If alcoholic becomes a Christian would it be feasible to continue? Of Course not. The same people who said they are born this way and cannot stop having no choice we find did stop in the scripture and still do today. This proves it is a choice. One needs to repent of their practices that scripture forbids. Jesus condemned the sin but not the person, however those who did not move toward change would be left identified with that sin. When Jesus forgave the prostitute saying neither do I condemn you he told her to sin no more. he didn't just love her and accept her in her sin. The same God that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah is the one who came as Jesus. "He is the same yesterday , today and forever," he has not changed his mind on sin! Both 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 1 Timothy 1:10 the apostle Paul states that those guilty of practising sexual immorality will not inherit the kingdom of God. This would include all sexual relationships outside the union of marriage between one man and woman. When Paul wrote his letters there was no Greek word which corresponded exactly with our current English word "homosexual." So how do we know what he means ? Because homosexual behaviour is described in the OT an in the NT passage such as Rom.1:26-27.
The words Paul uses here - malakoi ("male prostitute") and arsenokoitai ("homosexual offenders") - have been translated in different ways. Because of this those condoning homosexuality have tried to change the impression of these verses, saying that Paul was condemning homosexual prostitution or paedophiles (men having sexual relations with boys). Unanimously all Greek dictionaries, have understood these words ( arsenokoitai) to be referring to homosexuality. malakoi refers to persons who are soft, effeminate, especially of calamities, men and boys who allow themselves to be misused homosexual." Thayers Greek lexicon- malakos-1) soft to the touch 2) metaphorically, in a bad sense: effeminate: 1) used of a catamite 2) used of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man 3) used of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness 4) used of a male prostitute." All Greek scholars agree. Vines adds 1 Cor. 6:9, "effeminate," not simply of a male who practices forms of lewdness, but persons in general, who are guilty of addiction to sins of the flesh, voluptuous." 1 Timothy 1:10 for fornicators, for sodomites, pornos-1) a man who prostitutes his body to another's lust for hire 2) a male prostitute 3) a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse, a fornicator Likewise, arsenokoites means "a male homosexual, pederast, a sodomite. one who lies with a male as with a female, a sodomite: abuser of (that defile self) with mankind.""
We also find these terms in classical Greek literature ( Aristotle) applied to those attracted to the same sex. The History of mankind Rom.1:23-25 Men first inverted God's order by worshipping the creature and creation rather than the Creator, and as a signal of this error, like a traffic light blinking yellow to warn of a collision , God then gave them up to 'dishonourable desires' by distorting their sexual roles. To practice uncleanness akatharsia impurity (the quality), physically or morally: physical the impurity of lustful, luxurious, profligate living: used of impure motives. to dishonour their bodies atimazo-to dishonour, insult, treat with contempt whether in word, deed, or thought. Rom. 1:26-27 "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. (Rom. 1:26-27) if there were no other passage in scripture which condemns homosexuality, this would be enough.
Those engaged in this lifestyle in Paul's own words, are without excuse" (Rom. 1:20). His Christian audience would have understood this as a reference to Genesis 1-2, which tells us about the sequence of Gods created order but also about the corresponding relationship of male and female which he ordained in that order. Natural = phusikos-1) produced by nature, inborn 2) agreeable to nature 3) governed by (the instincts of) nature. It is argued that homosexuals are born that way, they don't choose this. Paul certainly did not think so, neither does God who wrote the scripture though him. In other words the natural attraction of the opposite sex was abandoned. Meaning what was normal behaviour was forsaken, discarded and replaced by an unnatural one. Also the phrase "against nature" Was used in connection with homosexual intercourse by Josephus who was not a Christian in the book of Antiquities, who was a contemporary of Paul. So we have the meaning defined from the culture besides the bible. Vile, shameful = GR. atimia infamy, i.e. (subjectively) comparative indignity, (objectively) disgrace: dishonour, reproach, shame, vile. Clearly creation and the natural order is established by God Himself (Rom.1:20, 25). So Paul is declaring that homosexuality is a flagrant violation of God's natural design for man and woman, having people as individuals and society move away from Gods standards. Paul used a term directly based on the Greek Septuagint translation of the prohibitions against homosexuality (Lev. 20:1, 3,31) Paul, a Rabbi thoroughly trained in the Torah, learned of the customs of other lands certainly understood the Levitical prohibitions.
He used the Septuagint translation of the OT when he chose his wording in I Corinthians and 1 Timothy. The early church dealt with the same issues today Theophilus of Antioch (181 AD). "For the unbelievers and for the contemptuous, and for those who do not submit to the truth but assent to iniquity, when they have been involved in adulteries, and fornication's, and homosexuality's, and avarice, and in lawless idolatries, there will be wrath and indignation, tribulation and anguish; and in the end, such men as these will be detained in everlasting fire" (To Autolycus 1:14). (John Chrysostom 391 AD) (Homilies on Matthew 3:3)"(Certain men in church) come in gazing about at the beauty of women; others curious about the blooming youth of boys. After this, do you not marvel that (lightning) bolts are not launched (from heaven), and all these things are not plucked up from their foundations? For worthy both of thunderbolts and hell are the things that are done; but God, who is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forbears awhile his wrath, calling you to repentance and amendment" .. "All of these affections (in Rom. 1:26-27) ... were vile, but chiefly the mad lust after males; for the soul is more the sufferer in sins, and more dishonoured than the body in diseases" … "(The men) have done an insult to nature itself. John Chrysostom 391 AD The Judgement Jude 1:7-8 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude writes those men who wanted to have sex with the angels who appeared as men because they had already given themselves over to this lifestyle. Pro-homosexual writers who claim to be Christian argue that while the homosexual lifestyle cannot be reproductive it can still fulfil the role commanded by God in Genesis 2 of the two shall become one. If this was practised then we would have much less of a population we have today. Imagine after the flood, Noah's family being homosexual having sex only for pleasure , having no children ,who would be here today ? We wouldn't be debating this issue, it would be mute. But this is what they want for society today.
The "gay" lifestyle is defended by a small minority; who are funded to lobby for what they perceive as human rights. They are the loudest publicly but it is without defence morally and religiously! The goal of our human sexuality is not to be reduced to sexual satisfaction, but as completeness." God said man and woman were one before any sexual union. This type of fulfilment is unattainable in homosexuality but only in the context of monogamous marriage. Men can be friends to men and women to women without any sexual behaviour, that is reserved for a Husband and a wife.
