The water of the new birth

We read that Jesus said, "Marvel not that I said lento thee, Ye must be born again" (John 3:7).

Just before He said that, He had said, (John 3:5)."Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"

What is the water of the new birth? What does this water of the new birth mean?

Does it refer to being baptised in water? Does that save you? No, that is not what Jesus is talking about.

The Word of God is the water referred to in John 3:5. Lets prove that by looking through a number of scriptures.

Eph 5:26 that he might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

Jn 6:63 It is the Spirit who give life; the flesh profiteth nothing: The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Jn 15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

Jn 15:7 "If you abide in ME, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Jn 17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth: Your word is truth.

I Pe1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

James 1:18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

When you believe in the Word of God, that you are a sinner, that Christ died to save you from all sin, and if you confesses your sins to God and turns from your sin with a whole heart and believe in the Word, you are obeying Gods Word.

The Holy Spirit will then change your life by the power of the Word of God and by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. At that moment, you are born again!

This new creation man, this newly born child of God, is then to believe it and walk accordingly. You are to begin reading the Word and praying to God. You are to walk and live in the spirit and to obey the Word of God as you walk in this new life.

Being born again, becoming the child of God, is the most important step you can make in life. It is the key that unlocks all the promises of God to you. For when you become a child of God, then Gods promises become yours.

But will you take it today for life? Or Maybe I will think about it?

Please look back at your life as you read this, and think about what is more important to you than Jesus Christ.?

We all have things in life that are important to us, and that is right, but to have the Lord Jesus Christ FIRST in your LIFE is more important.

So please put Jesus and the Word of God FIRST, and all things will take there place, and in there right order.

The Holy Spirit is with us to help in the way we look at LIFE and the things that go on in it. He will Help you out when you CALL on HIM as you go about your Life, but He will only Help you if you want Him to, YOU must BE BORN of the LORD JESUS CHRIST for Him to Help?

Please Do not think it is a game we are playing, it is LIFE or DEATH we are concerned with. Sin kills, and it can be forgiven if you ask JESUS to forgive you?.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
