The blessedness and glory of being a Christian

We have not begun to realize the blessedness and glory of being a Christian .

There is a picture which, seen in one light, shows a poor weary pilgrim lying on a miserable pallet in a dreary garret; but, seen from another aspect, the same picture shows a child of God, an heir of glory, arrayed in white robes, surrounded and carried up by angels to heavenly glory!

The first view is that which human eyes see in the Christian; the other is the reality — that which we will be forever!

"Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him , because we will see Him just as He is!" 1 John 3:2

"No eye has seen,

no ear has heard, and

no mind has imagined —

what God has prepared for those who love Him!" 1 Corinthians 2:9

"In Your presence is fullness of joy! At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore!" Psalm 16:11
