The Precious Blood Of Jesus

Blood and water flowed from Jesus' side for me! This is my blood of the (new) covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. That blood was poured out for my forgiveness. I share in the cup of the new covenant in Jesus' blood; whenever I drink it, I do so in remembrance of him. I am not to eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner or I will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

Jesus said that unless I eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, I have no life in me. I will therefore feed on him in every way he makes himself available to me. Jesus said that if I eat his flesh and drink his blood I will have eternal life, and he will raise me up at the last day. His flesh is real food and his blood is real drink. If I eat his flesh and drink his blood I remain in him, and he in me.

Jesus is the sacrifice of atonement. My sins are atoned for and I am put right with God through faith in his blood. In Jesus l have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of my sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

I have now been justified by his blood; how much more shall I be saved from Gods wrath through him!

Now in Christ Jesus I who once was far away have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. I have confidence to enter the most holy place by the blood of Jesus. Through Jesus God reconciles to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
