In the Bible 13 is the number of rebellion and apostasy, In the 13th chapter of the Book of Revelation we find the Devil, the Beast, and the False Prophet, the trinity of rebellion. It is therefore appropriate that the 13th edition of the Prophetic Telegraph should deal with mankind’s moat prolific idol —THE TELEVISION.

95% of the British population watch an average of 25 hours of television each week, according to the H.M.S.0. publication ‘Britain 1987”. Our present population is about 56 million. Therefore about 53 million people give 3½ hours of their leisure time EACH DAY to an electronic instrument. At no other time in this world’s history have so many people spent so much of their leisure time on a single united activity.

The same book reveals that 97% of British families possess a television; 35% have two or more sets in their homes; and 30% possess a Video Recorder. (The TV licensing centre tells us that 19 million licenses are issued each year.)

At present there are four channels of choice. Soon this will multiply many—fold as cable and satellite TV become more widespread. In the last 12 months average viewing time has risen from 21 to 25 hours per week. What will it be in 12 months from now? If statistical trends are followed, it might rise to 29 hours. But we have information to share that might wreak havoc on the statistics.

In this Telegraph we shall present important new PROPHETIC INFORMATION which should be disseminated as widely as possible. This is the task we take upon ourselves in the first inst­ance, and invite our readers to share the burden of responsibility.

Telegraph B, published on 5th Dec. 1986, and entitled “10 PLAGUES” contained a dream—vision received by Brooke Lane on 1st Dec. We now ask our readers to familiarise themselves with the information once again for it is the basis upon which further revelation and experience have been received.

In Brooke’s dream, people were being asked to give up their TVs. As things are at the moment, most people would find this a most outrageous and unacceptable request. No event has yet transpired to make relinquishment a feasible proposition. But something WILL happen, and so we understand, will happen quite soon to change the situation dramatically.
This dream was a clear warning to the whole population. Those who refused to give up their sets then heard the voice of the Lord boom forth in their living rooms, “I am the Lord your God; you shall have no other gods but me!”

Within a short while of the publishing of T.8 two important things happened:—
1. David Coombe felt led to watch part of a late night film on TV on Jan 2nd 1987. The film showed demons emerging from the TV screen and dancing about on a small girl who was watching alone in her bedroom. David was then reminded of Brooke’s dream. When he phoned us, he registered his surprise at the bravado of Satanic powers thus to advertise their activit­ies so blatantly..

2. Our friend and sister in Christ Liz Perks was visiting her mother on Friday 20th March. Her two children were with her. She had read 1.8 but had delayed making a decision against watching TV. At 7.15 pm they turned on the set arid waited for the programme “Magnum” to come on. Suddenly there was a white horizontal flash followed 5 minutes later by a vertical flash after which the set went dead. Liz began to get weird sensations, but put it down to normal causes.

At 8 pm her son tried the TV again and it worked perfectly. At 11.15 pm Liz was in prayer, and an alien voice starting speaking to her, in an American accent. After questioning the spirit and further prayer, the Lord reveille to her that she had been harassed by a spirit that had jumped out of the TV into the room at the time the flash occurred.

A third event has now transpired since we began to type this edition. On Friday 17th April, Andrew White visited us, and he seemed to be in a bemused state, hardly able to string a few words together to make coherent sense.

We questioned him, but he was unable to tell us what was wrong. My wife and I realised that he was ‘bugged’, and indeed I was myself beginning to feel an unnatural tiredness due to his presence in the room. I laid hands on Andrew and commanded the influence to leave him, in the name of Jesus. Immediately Andrew began to speak normally again, and at the identical moment we both knew in the spirit that this was due to the influence of the TV.

Andrew explain. that in his parents’ home there were three TVs and he had found it almost impossible to keep clear of one or other of them over the last few days, As a result of this, we asked the Lord how we might obtain protection from undesigned chance encounters with transmissions from TVs.

The immediate answer directed us to Rev.7 and the sealing in the forehead’ of God’s saints. We were instructed to ask for this, not daily, but as a single act of the Holy Spirit, thereby providing us with continuous shielding from abuse. We hasten to pass this on.

Clearly these experiences are of very great significance, and should be treated very seriously indeed. Brooke’s dream was a clear example of modern prophecy, and the events which followed were the substantiation from the Lord. When God speaks, we do well to listen.

In fact Isaiah 66:4—5 shows that we should ‘tremble at His word,” and prepare ourselves for action. More often, as God tells us, ‘When I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not bear; but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted nor.” The result was also clearly set down. “I will choose their delusions and will bring their fears upon them.’

We are persuaded that those who do not treat Brooke’s dream seriously, will find themselves subject to fears and delusions. We have no desire to scare people, neither do we have the authority to ‘rap out orders’. Our persuasion derives from Scriptural principles tried and tested over thousands of years.

In God’s grace, He sends forth a word of warn­ing from heaven. We receive it as food from heaven, ‘hidden manna’. One may eat it and be sustained and prepared for action. Another may reject it, casting it forth as valueless. Such a one may experience events which cause a rapid change of mind.

But there is a third type, who take the word, analyse it, dissect it and discuss it, and eventually leave it to the morrow, when it has ‘bred worms’ and is no longer palatable. This type is offensive to the Lord. They are neither one thing nor the other. They are a mixture of hot water and cold, and being lukewarm, the Lord spits them out. We need to encourage each other not to ‘halt between two opinions’, and sit on the fence.

With permission, we cite the position of a few friends. Eric and Edna Iszatt have persistently refused to have the TV in their home. John Armitage takes exactly the earns line. They all believe TV to be influenced by manipulative powers behind the scenes. David & Eileen Coombe and Liz Perks have, in the past, taken the same line as ourselves, believing that not ALL TV is bad, and that by judicious choosing of programmes, intelligent use may be made of the instrument.

But with the advent of Brooke’s dream, we took rapid action. Since the TV went, we have been surprised at how beneficial the action was on family life. (And we were only watching some 4 hours PER WEEK!) More recently, a new development has taken place. On April 4th Arthur received a startling and unexpected word from the Lord, as follows—

‘A whole new breed of demonic spirits has been released upon the world., manufactured in the Satanic laboratories of evil. Whereas in the past demons have been designed by Satan to harass, attack, and indwell human beings, this new generation has been designed to infiltrate, parasitise, and play games with man’s electronic devices. I have allowed this because man has misused his own inventions and therefore I will allow the inventions to misuse him.

The creative ability of man’s brain in designing a TV set is but a reflection of the fact that he was made originally in my image. Instead of him using it to glorify the Creator, he has used it to bring his fellow man into rental and spiritual bond­age.

The powers of darkness have their own goal in mind in creating this new breed of demons, but I shall mock man as he persists in idolatry and the worship of these new gods of forces. Multiple millions of these electronic spirits have been released through­out the world.

They fly upon the electromagnetic waves of aerial transmissions and make their bores in pieces of electronic apparatus. When these are in use they become active. They have the power to modify information-transfer, insert subliminal information, create sound and pictures, and erase them at will.

The result will be confusion, despairs and madness amongst those who use these devices. And yes, they may be exorcised, but all in vain. Another will be back on the next transmission, in 2 minutes, 2 hours, or 2 days. He who sits in the heavens will laugh, and have thin in confusion.”

Four factors emerge as a result of this word:—
1. The Lord was referring back to 29th Nov. ‘86 when He said, “The next plague has gone forth and will be much more rapid in its effect than the last.” (See page 4 of Telegraph 8) When the 2nd plague started we do not know, but it certainly antedates 29th Nov. 1986.

2. No further ‘intelligent use of TV’ can be justified. The television is now totally unsafe, and should be purged from the home.

3. As with the first plague (AIDS), no one needs to be subject to it. To live by biblical standards of morality is a safeguard against AIDS; to live without a TV is likewise a sure safeguard against electronic demonry.

4. We are likely to be receiving a spate of strange tales of inexplicable happenings from those who watch TV. Those who are advised about the reason, may then act as ‘men in white coats to others, and encourage them to give it up.

 

APPENDIX.
The following additional information may be helpful.
1.DEMONS. There is widespread confusion about demons, what they are and where they come from. They are all spirit creations of the Satanic empire, whose end is utter destruction. They Suet not be confused with the fallen angels. Demons are purely ‘spirit’, whereas fallen angels have spiritual bodies.

Both may attack human beings. Demons may attack, irritate, and generally make a nuisance of themselves to human beings EXTERNALLY. This is known as DEMON OPPRESSION. On the other hand, they desire rather to INHABIT living beings (preferably humans).  This is known as DEMONIC POSSESSION.

Satan has manufactured demons of every conceivable character, e.g. bad temper, sexual perversion, drug addiction, to name but a few. When a person gives way to a bout of temper (being subjected to a demon) the unclean spirit awakes to activity, and adds power to the temper, and at the same time feeds off the temper, thereby growing stronger.

(The analogy with power steering and braking in cars is a good one.) Demons come in all sizes and strengths. The smallest are also the most numerous, whereas the largest are usually single. hey are cannibalistic.

The larger ones tend to assimilate the smaller ones, thereby growing in strength, In the end, Babylon will have a taste f her own medicine. She will become ‘a dwelling lace of demons, a haunt of every foul spirit.’
Rev. 18:2)

THE NEW DEMONS. Although these are designed :o live in electronic apparatus, indirectly they sad off the human mind, because their sustenance comes from transmitted signals of man’s broadcasting. They have homing devices, like pigeons. Pigeons use the earth’s magnetic field.

Electronic demons use man—made electromagnetic ayes. Pigeons make for home. Electronic demons make for electronic apparatus tuned to these waves. Televisions seem to be their most obvious choice, but radio is also at risk.

Likewise all navigation equipment, and possibly computers, depending on their mode of use. (The confusion hat could be caused in these last two categories is horrifying to contemplate.)

GIVING UP THE TV. Some may consider this to e a simple task. It may be. But to others it will be as difficult as giving up smoking, or some other powerful drug addiction. On page 4 here is an extract from a new book by Roger Livesey, about the ‘New Age’. It speaks for itself.

4. V.A.L.A. (Viewers and Listeners Association). To the amazingly valiant Mrs. Mary Whitehouse we now say — your job is done. Withdraw your forces and let the TV alone. As from now you will be endangering yourself, and all the members of your association, by monitoring programmes.

In a sense, the coming of the electronic demons is equivalent to God pressing the self-destruct button on the TV. Likewise we have the same message for our dear friend and brother Fred Grossmith  It is too late to mount a “Christian Broadcasting Campaign.” The motive was praiseworthy, but circumstances now demand a change of direction.

5. WHO RUNS THE TELEVISION? Humanly speaking top management, programme producers, and the finance empire. If anyone thinks that one channel is ‘better’ than others, they might like to examine the chart on the back page.

It is extracted from a book entitled, “The State of the Nation” by Fothergill & Vincent. What the chart leaves out is more important to a Christian, in other words, the demonic involvement BEHIND the scenes. This has been at work for very many years, long before this present outpouring of electronic demons.

6. BENJAMIN CRIME & THE “MAITREYA”. Many will remember the large advertisements that appear­ed in all the main daily and Sunday papers on April 25th 1982. The New Age movement was announcing the presence in the world of “The Christ”. (NOT Jesus of Nazareth, please note.)

The advert said that their Christ would appear on TV and speak telepathically to all peoples in their own language. We asked the Lord if there would be any danger involved in this, and (on May 14th 1982) we were told, “There is danger to all who watch this man.

 Just as all those who looked into the face of my Son gazed upon the Author of Life, all those who look upon his face will imbibe death.” More recently, on 12th Jan. 1987, a similar full—page advertisement appeared the American newspaper “USA TODAY”

Further information about this will be found in our Information Sheet No.2, enclosed with this edition of 1.13 We advise Christians to take these matters seriously, and not to treat them as a joke. We are living in very straitened times, and deception is at its peak.

 

7. THE EFFECTS OF TELEVISION. Regardless of this latest information about electronic demonry, we offer the following list of effects from the continuous watching of TV
(a) a weakening of the human will,
(b) a lowering of the powers of resistance
(c) manipulation of attitudes of the mind, (d) uniformity of thought patterns,
(e) a numbing of the senses to all forms of evil,
(f) robbing of time that should be spent o Cod, spouse, and family,
(g) a depersonalising influence, loss of human identity,
(h) the production of a decisionless society, by the encouraging of ‘sitting on the fence’
(i) specific programmes producing effects on the human soul and spirit, by hypnosis and psychic suggestion.
(j) destruction of personal initiative.

We learn about events outside our own experience through television, radio and the press. The few people in the private and public sectors who control these channels of information greatly influence what becomes known to the general public.

Some newspapers are owned by wealthy individuals. Most of the rest are in the hands of a few companies that own national dailies, weeklies and local papers. Typically, these companies also own snares n local radio stations. Publishing, commer­cial television and the music, film and film distribu­tes industries are also dominated by a few com­panies. Sometimes these are actually the same firms, operating under different names in different parts of the entertainment and communications industry.

Media firms often share company directors, some of whom also sit on the boards of commercial and industrial companies. As big businesses them­selves, with close links with Other big businesses. the media tend to 00 sympathetic to the aims of private industry and conservative in outlook.

Approximately 4 years ago in St. Catherine’s, Ontario, the newspaper headlines read one day $S00 Paid for Dispos­ing of TV. The article went on to say that a study was done in Detroit in which the goal was to find out to what degree people are controlled by TV. 250 families were scientifical­ly selected from various races and classes to be offered $500 if they would live without their TV set for one month.

After 30 days they could take it back in, and receive $500 free. Out of 250, only SO families agreed to do it. I-low many families “made it “through this trial of 30 days? Eight! The other 42 forfeited their $500 sometime during the month —one family took their TV back in on the 29th day. The 8 who made it through were interviewed extensively. All eight said it brought their family closer together without TV. Six fathers said they first learned to boom their children. One father said:

“The day that I disposed of our TV was the first day in 25 years that no one was killed in our living room, no sirens screamed, no shots rang out, no artificial merriment told us when to laugh, and no one slashed anyone else. And what was now the final result of these eight families of whom 7 said their family life was considerably more rewarding without TV? The last line of the article tells us: ‘‘All eight families took TV back in.
