Christ's reign in His Church
The mercy of God
The muddy river
of this world's pleasure
What God has prepared
for those who love Him!
An infant's breath might blow it out!
They must all die!
The fact is,
The evidence of Gospel salvation
Christ's love-letters
The Lord has done great things for us!
What sort of life is this?
Store your jewels
where you can never lose them
He is full—infinitely full!
  His abounding preciousness
The 'separated' life
Beggars must not be choosers!
The cross is not made of soft feathers!
Royal feet have left a blood-
red track upon the road
You will have to endure the pruning knife!
Both our teacher and our lesson!
A perpetual guide
Lay your foundations with sapphires
Life is wasted by driblets
The most healthy state of a Christian
A holy shame!
He takes them from the dunghill—
and wears them as jewels in His crown!
An invisible hand
is always on the world's helm
How great the sin of God's people is
The door of the Word
only opens to the key of diligence!
Not one cold look for His poor pensioners
All, all, all are yours!
Fear Him!
The photograph of a contrite heart
If we could reach Him!
Sought out
It is necessary to pass
through many troubles
When men have ridden the high horse
Like a dove
Great hearts can only
be made by great troubles
Arise, and take your last journey!
The half has not been told to me!
Christ takes a worm—
and transforms it into an seraph!
The College of Christ
If you can pour this promise into your cup
The only true delight!.
