O diligent and patient Christian reader, can you not perceive, do you not discern that the sections which have been underlined in these first three presentations are in fact the very Words of the Living God? The evidence is clearly before you. No Hebrew or Greek scholar need be consulted. Lexicon, commentary, seminary professor, text critic etc. need not be sought out for the truth. Does not the Spirit of God bear witness to your spirit that these passages are Scripture? The issue before us is paramount. As there are only two distinct types of Greek texts, the Aleph/B and the Textus Receptus, if the underscored portions are Scripture the Aleph/B text and all translations derived from it must been seen as false and rejected. If these omitted words are Scripture, then the Textus Receptus must be seen as the Biblical Greek text and the King James must then be viewed as the faithful English rendering of that text. A decision must needs be made and yet there is more.
1. Vaticanus B and Sinaiticus Aleph are the Greek manuscript foundation from which the Westcott-Hort, Nestle, UBS, etc. Greek texts are derived. They are synonymous terms for all practical purposes. They are the Greek texts from which the modern translations are derived.
2. The Textus Receptus (Received Text) is the Greek foundation from which the King James (and nearly all English translations that preceeded it during the century before its production i.e.: The Great Bible, Bishop's, Matthew's, Geneva, etc.) are derived. Other similar and/or synonymous entities are the "Traditional Text", Byzantine, Syrian, and "Majority Text".
