Promises for: Comfort in the LORD

Rom. 15:4-5 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now The God Of Patience And Consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus."

Ps. 119:50 " This is my comfort in my affliction: for Thy Word hath quickened me."

Ps. 91:1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty ."

Is. 25:4 "For Thou hast been a strength to the poor, A Strength to the needy in his distress, A Refuge from the storm, A Shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall."

Ps. 27:5 "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His Pavilion : in the secret of His Tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon A Rock ."

Ps. 31:20 "Thou shalt hide them in the secret of Thy Presence from the pride of man: Thou shalt keep them secretly in a Pavilion from the strife of tongues."

Ps. 32:7 "Thou art My Hiding Place ; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah."

Ps. 121:5 "The LORD is Thy Keeper : the LORD is Thy Shade Upon Thy Right Hand ."

Is. 4:6 "And there shall be a tabernacle for A Shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of Refuge , and for A Covert from storm and from rain. 33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. 49:25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children ."

2 Thess. 2:16-17 "Now our LORD Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us Everlasting Consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work."
