Please explain Hebrews 9:27

The phrase “appointed…once to die” means that we can know that we are all going to die at least once. And since all mankind will eventually be given the knowledge of God’s Way (Isa. 26:9; 2:4;11:1-9; Micah 4:3), we can know that we are all going to be resurrected. Since “judgment is now upon the House of God” (I Pet. 4:17), those called and given God’s Holy Spirit now (in this life) are being given their only opportunity for salvation at this time.

If those who have the Holy Spirit later reject God’s Way, they will lose out on salvation (Heb. 6:4-6). They will be resurrected once, at the end of Christ’s millennial rule, and thrown into the lake of fire, to be completely destroyed (Rev. 20:14-15).

All those who have lived and died throughout history, without ever learning God’s Way, will be resurrected at the end of the millennium (Rev. 20:5) to receive their first (and only) opportunity for salvation. Those who choose to live God’s Way will be given immortality. Those who reject God’s Way will be destroyed (Rev 20:14-15).

Christ brought Lazarus back to physical life. Lazarus did die again, and is now awaiting the resurrection. The saints resurrected (also to physical life) at the time of Christ’s Resurrection also died again, and are now awaiting the resurrection.
