O God, You are great

O God, You are great—and greatly to be feared.

Your greatness is unsearchable.

Heaven is Your throne—the earth is Your footstool.

Before You, cherubim and seraphim continually cry—'Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty!'

Heaven and earth are full of the majesty of Your glory. You are the sovereign controller of all events.

You do according to Your will in the armies of Heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth.

The Lord reigns. Man proposes—but You dispose! And You dispose wisely and well.
