Not unto us!

" Not unto us , O LORD, not unto us — but to Your name be the glory!" Psalm 115:1

In all of our service to Christ, let us beware lest we take that honor which belongs to Christ. Let us also beware, lest our friends see only us — and not Christ. Let US keep ourselves out of the way — that they may behold HIM!

Let us remember always, that there is One standing unseen beside us, while we do our work, who is far mightier than we — and that we should strive only and always to put the honor upon Him, utterly forgetting ourselves.
