Jesus would pray for His persecutors.

Prophecy: "He...made intercession for the transgressors" (Isaiah 53:12).

"In return for my love they are my adversaries; but I resort to prayer" (Psalm 109:4).

Fulfilment: "And Jesus prayed, Father forgive them for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).
