Jesus' Kingdoms

Jesus has had 3 separate and distinct "Kingdoms".

NOT just 2.

And these Kingdoms must definitely be acknowledged SEPARATELY. This does NOT mean that from the time of SINAI and PENTECOST that there has been 3 different COVENANTS. NO, God has only had 2 separate Covenants since that time. The OLD Covenant of Moses that ended at the Cross, and the NEW Covenant of Christ that began on the Day of Pentecost.

1. Jesus is King of CREATION.

John 1:3 Through Him all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made.

Kingdom change via - CHRIST's BIRTH

2. Jesus then becomes King of the Jews the moment He was born. He is now King upon the Throne of David, King of His OLD Covenant Messianic Jewish Kingdom. The Kingdom He was sent to rule over in order to bring Israel back to Moses. Isaiah and the Angel Gabriel both Prophesied of this.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and for the age lasting. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

Luke 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the Throne of his father David.

Matthew 2:2 And asked, "Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews ? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him."

Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the Kingdom. This is NOT Christ's NEW Covenant Kingdom (the church). The church would not be preached for another 3 years. This is Jesus Christ's Messianic Kingdom for the "Lost sheep of Israel" of whom Jesus was born King of the Jews and ONLY the Jews. Jesus and John the Baptist baptized Israelites INTO this Kingdom. And this Kingdom ended at the Cross.

ALL kingdoms end when their king dies.

Kingdom change via - CHRIST's DEATH.

3. Jesus then becomes King of His NEW Covenant Kingdom. (the church)

Colossians 1:13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son He loves.

Jesus could only obtain this Kingdom by living a sinless life unto death. ONLY then could He offer His perfect Body to the Father as an atoning Sacrifice for the sins of ALL humans. And His Father then made Him King giving Him ALL authority in Heaven and on earth. And Jesus then sat at His Father's right hand on the Throne of Heaven.

Then, from Heaven, Jesus "sent" the Holy Spirit to begin His church. His Apostles then began to speak the NEW Covenant that Jesus gave them during the 40 days He was with them. A Covenant only able to come from the King on the Throne of Heaven. Jews then chose to be BAPTIZED INTO Christ's NEW Covenant, the church. And only then did Jesus obtain "subjects" in His last ETERNAL Kingdom.

Of all the times that the word “Kingdom” is used in the Gospels,(Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) which is 116 times in total, the “only” time that it specifically refers to Christ’s New Covenant church, is 10 times, and they are;
