In the future, is God going to resurrect animals?

The Bible simply does not indicate that God intends animals to have any other life after death. All physical creatures, both man and animal, go to their graves when they die (Ec. 3:19-20). It appears that God has no future purpose for animals, once their physical life is finished, as He does for mankind.

Man was created in God’s image (Gen. 1:26), and given a mind with a free-moral choice to develop (with the power of God’s Holy Spirit) Godly righteous character, which would enable him to receive the gift of eternal life—all for the purpose of increasing God’s Family. God did not intend animals to become a part of His Family.

Our booklets Does the Bible Teach Predestination? and What Is the Kingdom of God? explain the purpose and incredible potential of human life.

Animals will still serve their physical purpose during the coming millennium, although in a somewhat altered manner. For an interesting prelude, please read Isaiah 11:6-9.
