His Joy within Me

Jesus speaks through his Word that his joy may be in me and that my joy may be complete. Jesus was full of joy through the Holy Spirit, and said, 'I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.'

Jesus speaks these things to me through his Word, so that I may have the full measure of his joy within me. I am filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. God has made known to me the path of life; he fills me with joy in his presence. He provides for me and fills my heart with joy.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The God of hope fills me with all joy and peace as I trust in him, so that I may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. No one can take away my joy! I want others to share my joy.

I am greatly encouraged; in all my troubles my joy knows no bounds. Even in the most severe trials, my overflowing joy is to well up in rich generosity. I consider it pure joy whenever I face trials of many kinds, because I know the testing of my faith produces perseverance.

I am to rejoice and leap for joy when persecuted, because great is my reward in heaven. Joy is part of the fruit of the Spirit in my life.

My joy in Christ Jesus is to overflow. I am always to pray with joy. If I ask I will receive, and my joy will be complete. Jesus promises this.
