God’s Mercy

I am blessed when I am merciful, for I will be shown mercy. I should have mercy on others just as the Lord has mercy on me. When I show mercy, I am to do so cheerfully. I want to tell others how much the Lord has done for me, and how he has had mercy on me. His mercy extends- to me because I fear him. In view of God's mercy, I offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is my spiritual act of worship. God is rich in mercy towards me. Grace, mercy and peace are mine from God the Father and Christ Jesus my Lord.

He saved me, not because of righteous things I had done, but because of his mercy. The Lord is full of mercy and compassion towards me. In his great mercy he has given me new birth into a loving hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Once I had not received mercy, but now I have received mercy.

I keep myself in God's love as I wait for the mercy of my Lord Jesus Christ to bring me to eternal life. I approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that I may receive mercy and find grace to help me in my time of need.
