In the Scriptures, there is only one God. So does God have a God? Would it ever make sense to say that God has a God. Of course it doesn't make any sense whatsoever to say God has a God? Or course not. It's absurd to say God has a God. God, by definition, has no God. He is above all and greater than all. Moreover, if God had a God then his God would be someone else and you will necessrily end up with two Gods where one of these Gods is a God of the other. It's a ludicrous proposition.
But Trinitarian doctrine does indicate God has a God. In Trinitarianism, Jesus is the only true God and he has a God. In Trinitarianism, God, that is, God the Son, came down out of heaven and assumed a human nature for himself. And it was this same person, God the Son, who was hanging dead on a cross and laying dead in a tomb. After all, if it wasn't God the Son who was hanging dead on the cross and laying dead in the tomb, who was it? Someone else? And so God the Son cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" And so the implications of the Trinity are that we have a situation where God has a God. The Father turns out to be God's God in Trinitarian doctrine. It really doesn't matter how Trinitarians qualify how and why God has a God. God the Son according to his human nature has a God in Trinitarian doctrine. It still remains that God has a God. Qualifying reasons why God has a God doesn't turn the concept of God's God from absurdity to validity. It will remain true in their theology that God has a God. God's God. Absurd.

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Matthew 27:46.
Was that God the Son calling out to his God? God's God? Did God think that his God had forsaken Him?
I am ascending to my Father and your Father and my God and your God John 20:17.
Did God the Son say that He, God, was ascending to his God? God's God?
He who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. Revelation 3:12
Was God the Son referring to His God? God's God?
The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory..." Ephesians 1:17.
Is Paul referring to God's God?
