Give us reverential and child-like submission to Your will.

The lot may be cast into the lap, but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.

Finite wisdom has no place in Your dealings. Not only are all things ordained by You, but ordained in ineffable wisdom and love.

May the end of Your dispensations be our growing sanctification.
