We learn from this that the primary purpose for Christians having a job is that they can help others in need. God equates our treatment of others in need with our treatment of Himself (CP Pr 19:17; 21:13; 22:9).
Our Christian walk is not only a spiritual walk, it must also serve the needs of others, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ (CP Ga 6:10; Jas 2:13-17; 1Jn 3:16-18).
