Christ would be accused by false witnesses

Prophecy: "Malicious and unrighteous witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not" (Psalm 35:11).

"For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit are opened against me, they have spoken to me and against me with a lying tongue" (Psalm 109:2).

Fulfilment: "Now the chief priests and the whole council (the Sanhedrin) sought to get false witnesses to testify against Jesus..." (Matthew 26:59a).
