Christ keeps a memorial

Christ keeps a memorial

"Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me!" Matthew 25:40

Christ keeps a memorial of any beautiful thing we do unto others, out of love for Him. He will forget nothing.

Men go about with hammers, breaking the rocks, and find embedded in the heart of them the imprint of ferns, leaves, flowers, which fell on the soft clay long ages ago.

Every line and vein and fold is preserved in perfect feature.

In like manner, your smallest deeds unto others, done out of love for Jesus, which seem to be forgotten — are writing their records these common days in God's book of life, and in the ages to come their story will be read by angels and men.

"And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward." Matthew 10:42
