But notice:

But notice:

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (Hebrews 10:26,27)

Below is the passage that can lead to a destructive conclusion:

The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.(Hebrews 10:1,2---NIV)

It is being taught that the advantage of the new covenant is that it prevents our feeling guilty when we sin. It takes away the feeling of guilt, not the sinful behavior!

But the Book of Hebrews is largely a warning to Christians that if they sin they are facing the fire of Divine judgment. So how could the advantage of the new covenant be that it removes our feeling of guilt when we sin?

There is another interpretation of taking away our sins. It is that in the Day of Redemption, Christ will remove from us the desires and practices of sin. If this is not true, Heaven will be filled with people who habitually are sinning but have no consciousness of doing so.

Speaking of the Day of Redemption:

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Is our salvation in the future? What will it be like? If the forgiveness of our sins was accomplished at the first appearing of Christ, would the removal of our sinful bondages be accomplished at Christ's second appearing?

It seems our initial "accepting Christ" is not all there is to salvation!

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30)

The Day of Redemption? Is that the same as going to Heaven?

In two or three days he will heal us and restore our strength that we may live with him. (Hosea 6:2—CEV)

If we are to live with God, it must be true that the Day of Redemption actually removes the sinful desires and actions of our body. God will not live with someone who is sinning.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (II Corinthians 6:17,18)

If the two verses above are of God, and the Scripture cannot be changed in any manner, it follows then that the Day of Redemption must actually remove the sinful desires and actions of our body.

Can you see the sense of that? It appears that after having forgiven our sins by the blood of the cross of Cavalry, Jesus will appear again and remove the sinful desires and actions of our personality.

It is when, and only when, our sins and rebellion actually have been removed, that we can say the worshiper has nor more consciousness of guilt and the new covenant has been fulfilled.

Can you honestly think of anything more wonderful than that? Yet it is absolutely necessary if Heaven is to be heavenly.

You know, I have been a Christian for many years, but I never have heard a sermon on the Day of Redemption. Have you? Yet, Paul says we Christians have been sealed unto the Day of Redemption.

Paul has written that his goal is to attain to the resurrection from the dead, and so perhaps the Day of Redemption has to do with the resurrection.

We speak a lot about going to live in Heaven, but not often about the Day of Redemption.

What Satan stole from us is our fellowship with God. Before Satan deceived us, it was clear that we belonged to God and were to be made in His image. Our assigned home is the earth, although our true, eternal life and citizenship are in Heaven.

Redemption results in restoration.

The Lord Jesus Christ is our Redeemer.

To redeem a person or thing is to restore to the original owner that which has been taken from him by deception or force. We were removed from God's ownership by the deceptions of Satan.

People gave the authority over themselves to Satan when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Satan deceived Adam and Eve into disobeying God. Satan still deceives us today. He is the master deceiver.

Through His sacrifice on the cross of Cavalry, Jesus Christ redeemed mankind from the authority of Satan. Christ brought us back into His proper ownership of us. Christ paid for our redemption with His own blood.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; (Psalms 107:2)

Please understand that there is no circumstance in which a human being is controlled neither by God or by Satan. They are powerful spirits. We are but dust. We do not have the intelligence or strength to help ourselves. We must belong to Satan or God. When we do not belong to God through Christ, we are controlled, totally or in part, by Satan.

However, Satan will not yield his seeming ownership and control of human beings, even though the valid price has been paid.

Therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ will take us back by force, the Force of the Spirit of God. The price has been paid for our redemption, but we must be redeemed by force—by a much, much greater force than that possessed by Satan and his demons.

And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out [force out] demons and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I am perfected. (Luke 13:32---ASV)

The reason I am emphasizing "force out" is that this is what is going to be required of us. Jesus is not going to do it all for us. As the Spirit of God shows us what evil personalities are controlling us, we are going to have to confess them clearly and then resolutely announce that they belong in the Lake of Fire and not in the Kingdom of God.

These unclean spirits will not waltz out daintily at our tender request. They must be put to death by the Spirit of God. They must be forced out of their ability to control our actions or what we say.

What things are you saying or doing that you know are not in God's image? Right now, if possible, describe to God what you are saying or doing that is ungodly. Remember, that spirit that is in you is listening. Then ask the Lord Jesus to force it from you. Declare firmly that it has no place in the Kingdom of God and belongs in the Lake of Fire.

It may remain in you or with you for a while. But the fire and life will be taken from it. Eventually, if you absolutely refuse to behave that way again, it will leave and go on its way to the Lake of Fire.

Some of these unclean personalities that are in us are inherited. Others, as in the case of Adam and Eve, were admitted because we chose to do what God has forbidden.

Some of the unclean spirits that dwell in the members of our body are weak and can be overcome easily. Others are "kings" and we have to keep resisting their influence all our life.
