An Open Door

An Open Door

As I prayed this morning I felt the television outreach we are in the processing of preparing really is of the Lord. We have a lot of work to do yet. We are hoping that after we get the programs recorded we will be able to put the Sunday sermons on our WOR site on the Internet as well as on a television station. This would be a wonderful opportunity for us to communicate to the Body of Christ worldwide the truths that seem to have been made real to us.

(7/2/2006) We have been pastoring the same church for thirty years, a relatively small congregation of about 90 people. Our outreach, which includes two Internet sites, has been growing, to about 1200 visits per day on our main WOR site. In addition we send out audio and video tapes, monthly newsletters, books and booklets, and have about 950 subscribers to our daily essay.

Different ministers who have come to Mount Zion Fellowship have stated that something is being birthed. We have wondered what the baby will look like.

It seemed this morning we had a fresh witness that Christ is going to open a door for us that no power can shut.

We are interested in spreading the understanding we think God has given us. Perhaps the most important concept is that the present understanding of Divine grace as an alternative to our change into God's image has destroyed the work of God in the earth.

Andrew Strom (I think it was) wrote recently that Christianity is being destroyed in the United States. I believe it is due to our understanding that Paul contrasted faith and works as contrasting faith and godly behavior, rather than what actually is true, the contrast between faith and the works of the Law of Moses—a most important distinction!

Also our use of belief in Christ as a sort of talisman, a magic by which untransformed people enter Heaven, rather than our entrance to the work of redemption that moves us from the image and works of Satan to the image and works of God.

Another important understanding we have received over the last fifty years is that the goal of salvation is not eternal residence in Heaven but deliverance from the person and works of Satan so we can have fellowship with God wherever we are.

The great goal of the Divine redemption has two components: change into the inner image and outer likeness of Christ, and untroubled rest in the center of God's will and Person.

There are a number of other topics, roles, and tasks having to do with the Kingdom of God that need to be brought to the attention of God's people, we believe, such as:

To be a member of the Bride of the Lamb.

To be part of the Temple of God.

To be a member of the Body of Christ.

To be the light of the world.

To be a part of the vehicle for the end-time revival.

To be a restorer of Paradise on earth.

To be a source of eternal life and healing for the nations.

To be a member of the royal priesthood.

To be a witness of God.

To be salt.

To be a son of God.

To be a brother of Jesus Christ.

To be an overcomer of the accuser.

To be a governor of the nations.

To be a soldier in the army of the Lord.

To be a judge of men and angels.

To be a wall of defense around the Glory of God.

To be a part of the revelation of Himself—God in Christ in the saints.

There are many other concepts outlined in the "Book Library" of the WOR site, that may be of interest to the maturing believer.

Perhaps it is time for us to put our stone in the wall, as God is building His Kingdom. It is apparent that we now are entering the spiritual fulfillment of Rosh Hashanah, the time of the Blowing of Trumpets, as the Lord Jesus Christ begins to make war against the spiritual enemies of God and man that seek continually to prevent our entering our inheritance.
