The twelve patriarchs are the sons of Jacob who became the fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel - Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Napthali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun,
Joseph and Benjamin (CP Gen 29:31-30:13, 17-20, 22-24; 35:16-18).
