3:17-18 How is wisdom from above defined?

First and foremost it is pure and gentle, peace loving and courteous. It allows discussion, and is willing to yield to others. It is full of compassion, and produces a harvest of good deeds. It is also free from prejudice and hypocrisy.

All Christians have to do to receive of this wisdom is to ask for it. God will give it to all who ask in faith (CP Jas 1:5-8 with Pr 2:1-11).
