33 Every person who rejects Christ will be removed from the earth in that Day.

Christ will exercise His awesome power, and reign. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. Christ will reign forever over earth’s peoples and we with Him.

The Kingdom Age will be ushered in by "great voices in heaven." The coming of Jesus will not be a secret. Loud voices do not keep secrets. Christ will descend from Heaven with a shout! All the earth will understand that the King is coming to take possession of His Kingdom.

And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, (Revelation 11:16)

It is time to worship God. Man has been worshiped long enough. It is time for us to cast our crowns at the feet of the Lord and to declare that the Lamb alone is worthy. God is worthy of our eternal worship. He is the Creator. We, the creatures, are to worship our Creator and proclaim that He alone is worthy of adoration and praise.

One of the distinguishing features of the churches of our day is the focus on the welfare of people. Seldom do we hear of a seminar devoted to the Glory of God and the doing of His will. The emphasis is on the spiritual and physical healing of people.

It is important that people are healed spiritually and physically. But what is of first importance is that God is glorified through Christ and His will is performed in the earth.

If we will devote ourselves to glorifying the Lord and performing His will, perhaps He will be pleased to come and heal us and our land. But whether God heals us or He does not, whether our way is reasonably pleasant or consists of one severe problem after another, the most important thing is that God is glorified and His will is done in the earth as it is in Heaven. Any other emphasis is of Antichrist, of man making himself a little god.

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. (Revelation 11:17)

God will gather up His almighty power and rule the world. Since the time of Adam and Eve the earth has been groaning in travail because of the curse of death that followed the disobedience of the first people.

God’s Presence withdrew from mankind. People then began to call on the Lord, no doubt praying to Him to deliver them from the bondage of corruption (they could still remember Paradise!) (Genesis 4:26).

The promise was given to the obedient Abraham that in His Seed all the nations of the earth would be blessed.

In Revelation, Chapter 11 we behold the fulfilment of God’s promise to return to the earth as our rightful King and Lord. God graciously consents to rule us because of the atonement made by His beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now will all the material creation be released into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. (Revelation 11:18)

Because this passage is speaking of the period just prior to the descent of the Lord and His army from heaven (Joel 2:11; Revelation 19:14), we know that the spirit of Satan still will be working in the nations of the earth. Therefore the nations are filled with rage instead of joy at the sight of the saints of the Lord ascending to meet the Lord in the air.

If the ascension of the elect were the only Divine act to take place in the Day of the Lord, the peoples of the earth would destroy themselves in their raging and their tormenting fears at the sight of the elect rising from the surface of the earth to meet the Lord Jesus in the air.
