27.Why is Jesus able to "succor (help) them that are tempted"?

Because Christ Himself was tested severely in the things He suffered on the earth He is able to come to the aid of each of us when we are going through a period of testing and suffering.

Christ was tested and experienced suffering just as we are tested and experience suffering. Christ knows our pain. Therefore He is able to help us and to make intercession for us before the throne of His Father in Heaven.
