23 miracles by Elisha

1- Parting the Jordan River 2K.13-14

2- The Desert of Edom. Elisha prophesied rain. (2K.3:17)

7,8- Shunem: Enabling a barren woman to have a child (2K.4:14-17)... and then bringing the child back to life after its dying (4:32-35)... a story sounding much like modern-day mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

9- Gilgal. Elisha purified a poisonous stew. (2 Kings 4:38-41)

10- Multiplying loaves and grain to feed 100 men (2K.4:42-44).

11-12- The Jordan River: Healing the leper Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Aram, by having him wash 7 times in the Jordan River... and then passing Naaman's leprosy to Gehazi, his servant, and to his descendants forever. Then Gehazi went from Elisha's presence and he was leprous, as white as snow. (2K.5) 

13- Causes the ax to float 2Ki 6:6

14-15-16- Dothan. Elisha led the Aramean army from Dothan to Samaria... all Army blind!... and then restores their sight

Elisha thwarts the king of Syria by revealing his planned raids to Jehoram, the king of Israel. So the king of Syria seeks to kill Elisha and sends an army to kill Elisha. But God provided an army of angels full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha, his servant was trembling at the sight of the army against hem two alone... bur, finally, the servant sees the army of angels. As the enemy came down towards him, Elisha prayed to the Lord , "Strike these people with blindness." So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked... Elisha then brought the blind-army to Samaria, and there Elisha said, "Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see." Then the Lord opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were inside Samaria, its enemy! (2K.6:8-23).

17- Samaria: Elisha prophesied the end of the Aramean siege. (2K.7:1-2)

18-19- Damascus: Elisha pronounced the end of Ben-Hadad. He foretells Hazael he will become king of Aram... and he did! (2K.8:7-15).

20- He anoints Jehu as King of Israel... and he became King (2K.9).

21- He foretells Jehu he will destroy the house of Ahab his master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the Lord 's servants shed by Jezebel. The whole house of Ahab will perish.... and it did happened (2K.9).

22- As for Jezebel, dogs will devour her on the plot of ground at Jezreel, and no one will bury her... and it happened exactly like that (2K.9:10, 30-37).

23- After his death, some Israelites were burying a man, they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb. When the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet. (2K.13:21).
