This means that the gospel of Jesus is prophetic. The gospel is the testimony of Jesus (cp Rev 22:7). The gospel testifies of Jesus.
It makes known to all who hear it the redemptive work of Christ, His coming again and the final judgment of God upon the earth and all its inhabitants (cp Rev 1:1-3; 22:7).
