18:23 What does this verse signify?
Paul's departure from Antioch here signified the commencement of his third apostolic mission which culminated in his return to Jerusalem in Ac 21:17. It is generally agreed among Bible scholars that this mission took approximately five years (CP 18:23 - 21:17).
