14:51-52 Who is the young man referred to here?

Apart from being mentioned here there is no other record of this young man in scripture.

Some Christians think that Mark is referring to himself here.

Others say it was Lazarus, who Christ raised up from the dead.

Still others think that it was the rich young ruler, (who could not give up his possessions for Christ).

As scriptures are silent, all speculation as to his identity is futile.
