11:4 Is the figure seven thousand here literal or symbolic?

(CP also 1Ki 19:14, 18). Whether the figure seven thousand in these scriptures is literal or symbolic is irrelevant. It is more important to know that even today God has a faithful remnant of Jews serving Him the same as He had in both Paul and Elijah's day (CP Ro 11:5).

According to the election of grace means that there will always be some that believe who are saved by grace as the remnant of Israel is here.

They are saved only by God's grace through faith in Christ. All human works are excluded (CP V6 with 9:11, 30-33; Eph 1:4-7, 2:8-9).)
