10:5-7 Why did Jesus forbid the disciples going to the Gentiles here?

The Gospel message was initially limited to the Jews – the house of Israel - but they rejected Jesus and ultimately had Him killed, so it was then given to the Gentiles (cp Jn 1:11; Ro 1:16 with Ac 2:22-23; Ro 9:1-33; 1Th 2:14-15).
