10:26-31 Does this mean that once-saved Christians can lose their salvation if they wilfully sin?

Yes, contrary to what some Christians believe, once-saved believers can apostatise and lose their salvation. Salvation is not an unforfeitable possession in this life.

It only becomes an unforfeitable possession at the end of this life if one is sowing to the spirit (CP Eze 18:24-26, 30; 33:12-13, 17-18, 20; He 6:4-6; 2 Pe 2:20-22).

The statement in He 10:26 that "there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins" means that as Christ is the only sacrifice for sins, if we reject Him and His atoning sacrifice and revert to our preconversion ways, then we must suffer the punishment

(See also comments on He 3:7-11, 4:11-12, 6:4-6; 2Pe 2:20-22).
