‘Have Mercy, Lord’

I pray to my heavenly Father:

Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands towards your most holy place. Do not withhold your mercy from me, O Lord; may your love and truth always protect me. I said, 'O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you.'

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. Answer me, O Lord, out of the goodness of your love; in your great mercy turn to me. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long. Hear my prayer, O Lord, listen to my cry for mercy. Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.

O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. O Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.

O Lord, I say to you, 'You are my God.' Hear, O Lord, my cry for mercy. Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!

I love you, Lord, for you heard my voice; you heard my cry for mercy. To you, O Lord, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy.

Mercy triumphs over judgement! Mercy, peace and love are mine in abundance.
