He was moved with compassion for them
"When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them ." Matthew 9:36
We shall be prepared to seek the good of others in the largest, truest way — only when we have learned to look upon human lives as our Lord did. There was not a poor ruined creature that came into His presence under all the wasting of sin, whom He refused to minister unto.
There was not one whom He thought it a degradation to serve. When the disciples were quarreling as to which one should take the servant's place and wash the feet of the others — He quietly arose and performed the humble service.
"I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you!" John 13:15
