Divine keeping

"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand!" John 10:27-29

We cannot keep ourselves. A strong One, the mighty God, holds us in His divine clasp. We are not tossed like a leaf on life's wild sea, driven at the mercy of wind and wave. We are in Divine keeping .

Our security does not depend upon our own feeble, wavering faith — but upon the omnipotence, the love, and the faithfulness of the unchanging, the eternal God! While we trust in Him, we never can sink away in any floods.

No power in the universe can snatch us out of His hands. Neither death, nor life, nor things present, nor things to come, can separate us from His love!

"My help comes from the LORD, Who made Heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. The LORD is your keeper. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore!" Psalm 121
