You never find flies around a place which is fully disinfected and clean. They hate the disinfectant. In the case of the person who wants to retain their deliverance, they should always have the "disinfectant" of the Holy Spirit around them.

<p><strong>Are You Taking God's Name in Vain?</strong></p>
This means leading a clean Holy life before God bringing every thought into captivity to Jesus Christ having received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
+
<p>You say, "Well, my word! I wouldn't take God's name in vain!" You just did! (John 1:1) says that "the Word" was GOD! Satan tricked you, didn't he? You need to CONFESS to God that you've been taking His name in vain, and you need to REPENT of this sin!</p>

+
<p>"Well, my goodness!", you say. If you are saved then your "goodness" is none other than God Himself (Psalm 144:2). You just took His name in vain again. You have no goodness of your own (Isa. 64:6);( Rom. 3:23); (Psa. 39:5), so "my goodness" is a reference to God!</p>
''"Casting down arguments and every high'' thing that ''exhaults itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."'' (2Corinthians 10:5)

<p>"Good grief! I had no idea!" There you go again! Jesus Christ was a man of sorrows and acquainted with GRIEF (Isa. 53:3). His grief was "good" grief because He bore your sins. You should show more reverence and respect for your Saviour and quit throwing God's word around too loosely.</p>

+
<p>"For crying out loud! Can't I say anything?" How about reading your Bible for a change?! (Matthew 27:46) says that when your Saviour was suffering on the cross He "cried with a loud voice." What's your logic in using such speech? Could it be that Satan is just having a good laugh at your ignorance and disrespect of God's word?</p>
'''2. READ THE WORD OF GOD DAILY. '''
+
<p>"Well, geeeeeeee!" Did you say "G", as in "GOD"? Yes, you certainly did! You've also said "Gosh" and "Good Golly"! You've also said "Jeepers Creepers" when you really wanted to say "Jesus Christ" (JC!). You've also played around with the letters "G" and "D" together. You said "dad gum" and "dog gone" when you really wanted to say "God" and then follow with the word "damn". Think about it, Christian! Is God pleased with this kind of speech?</p>

+
<p><strong>Those Four-Letter Words!</strong></p>
There should be a balanced reading from the scriptures each day. By "balanced" I mean read part of the Old Testament as well as part of the gospels and epistles. This does not need to be a lengthy reading; it should, however, be on a regular basis and on an ordered basis, so that there is a regular diet of the Word of God being fed to our spirit.
+
<p>You probably wouldn't think of using the word "damn" too loosely, but what about "darn" and "dang"? Do they not serve the same purpose? Is Satan not pleased to fill your mouth with such speech?</p>

+
<p>"Why, heck!" Look out there! God knows your heart, and he knows you really wanted to say "hell".</p>
The Word of God is the mirror of the Spirit and as we read the Word, we read about ourselves. All our faults are exposed in the mirror of God's Word and we are therefore able to deal with those faults. As we do so we are transformed by the power of the Word.
+
<p>Down south folks say, "Ah, shoot!" This is nothing more than a cheap way of saying "s " Again I ask, is God pleased with this sort of speech? Is this "sound speech, that cannot be condemned"? I think not!</p>

<p><strong>Swear Not!</strong></p>
''"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."'' (2Corinthians 3:18)
+
<p>"But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." (Mat. 5:34-37)</p>

+
<p>Jesus said "swear not," yet God's people swear all the time! Such expressions as "for Heaven's sake", "for Pete's sake", and "Heavens to Betsy" are attempts to swear by Bible subjects, which shows disrespect toward God. God's word is PURE and HOLY! We should HONOR His words, not throw them around like a dirty dish rag!</p>
'''3. KEEP THE RIGHT COMPANY. '''
+
<p><strong>Truth Is All the Authority You Need</strong></p>

+
<p>Why do people curse and swear? There's only one reason: authority. People want to sound forceful and authoritative when they speak, so they spice their speech up with all sorts of catchy little "power words". Unfortunately, such words often dishonor God, the Bible, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Friend, TRUTH is all of the authority you need. Just speak the truth as it is revealed in God's word and you'll have no use for "Christian cursing".</p>
We are a separated people when we come to Jesus Christ, that is separated from the ways of the world. This does not mean to say that we should not move among the world and speak in love to those in the world, but in many cases we will need to keep away from the company of those who cause the problem, or who have the same problem.
+
<p>Remember: "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." (Mat. 12:36)</p>

+
For example, if we are delivered from homosexuality, we must not go back amongst homosexuals, otherwise the weakness of our flesh will drag us back into the same problem again. Similarly, if we have been moving with a fast moving crowd and drinking, lusting, etc., we must break totally with fellowship from them. Some people decide to return and witness to those people, but in those circumstances we must be sure of our strength in the Lord before we attempt to do this. "Birds of a feather flock together", and if we again flock with the fast crowd, then we can expect real problems to arise.
+

+
''"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?"'' (2Corinthians 6:14, 15)
+

+
God then tells us to come out and be separate from them.
+

+
'Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the''

''Lord, do not touch what is unclean, and'' I ''will receive you.''

(2Corinthians 6:17)

'''4, HAVE THE RIGHT FELLOWSHIP. '''
+

+
It is important that we fellowship in a Bible believing church and grow in things of the Holy Spirit. If our church appears to be "dead" simply because we have come to life, please remember the love that God still has for those in that particular church. Just because we have seen the light (it may have taken forty or fifty years for us to do so) do not expect everybody else to see the light within a few minutes. We may be called upon to show great love and tolerance towards those who are around us in that particular situation and continue to fellowship with them, so that they can see our changed life and desire to have the same. In such instances,
+

+
I would counsel the person to stay in that situation but seek spiritual feeding, perhaps through a prayer group or anointed teaching in a church which appears to be "alive", In that way, our spiritual life can be fed and at the same time we can be witnesses to those who may be lost to God's great truths, to whom the Holy Spirit would dearly love us to minister in His love. Let us not be too quick to judge those who appear to be in a "dead" situation. Only God knows the heart of each person, and some apparently "dead" people spiritually often possess purer hearts and better attitudes than so many people who claim to be Spirit-filled believers.
+

+
In the same way, we are to fellowship in our daily life with those who are spirit filled, so that we can grow in God's grace and love.
+

+

"And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit" (Eph. 5:18)''

+
This means the fruit of the Holy Spirit should be evident in our lives: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control (Galatians 5:22-23 amp). If this fruit is operating in our lives, then there is little opportunity for the enemy to be active.

'''MAKE JESUS LORD AS WELL AS SAVIOUR OF OUR LIFE '''
+

+
Every part of our being needs to be yielded to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. There must be no secrets between us and Him. Our thought life, our physical life, our sexual life, and our emotional life, should be all under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and subject to Him.
+

+
"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him" (Colossians 3:17).''

'''JESUS SHOULD BE CENTRAL IN OUR LIFE '''

'''PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD '''
+

+
The word of God sets out our whole armour.
+

+
''"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.''
+

+
''Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.''
+

+
''Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,''
+

+
''and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.''
+
''And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;''
+
''Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints'' -"
+
(Ephesians 6:12-18)''
+

+
We should have our loins girded about with truth and put on the breastplate of righteousness and our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, we should take the shield of faith, whereby we can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and the helmet of salvation which protects our mind. The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, should always be in our hand, and finally we should be praying with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.
+

+
The helmet of hope is the equivalent of the helmet of salvation.

We should always be open to praise God and take upon us the garment of praise.

''Finally we should always remember to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our strength and to love our neighbour as ourselves.''

''Furthermore we should remember always to keep before us the new commandment that Jesus Christ gave us, namely to love one another as He loved us.''

<big>'''Jesus Testifies Against the Trinity'''</big><br>
+
Jesus was commanded to worship the God of Israel, "Hear O ISRAEL, the Lord OUR God is one." He was required to worship OUR God and since he only worshiped the Father alone he proved to us that OUR God is the Father alone. He didn't worship a three-person-God proving that Israel's God was not a three-person-being. Jesus is our most trustworthy witness.
+

+
Our Lord Jesus shows us the Shema means our God is one single HE who we are to serve with all our heart. Mark 12:32; Deut 4:35. Jesus also shows us how to identify that one single HE - his Father alone - "there is NO OTHER but HE." Jesus identified that HE as the Father. He has made us to be... priests TO HIS God and Father. Rev 1:6. Even further, this command was for every Israelite including Jesus, a Jew born under the Law. It says, "the Lord OUR God."
+

+
Jesus was required to recognize and serve ISRAEL'S God. He did this by recognizing and serving only one person as OUR God, ISRAEL'S God. Israel's God = Jesus' God. "OUR God" for Jesus meant one person only. This proves beyond any doubt that the God of Israel was only one person. Otherwise, Jesus did not obey the Shema commandment.

Christian Cursing

"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." (Mat. 12:36-37)

"In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you." (Titus 2:7-8)

According to these verses of Scripture, we, as Christians, need to be very careful with our mouths because we will one day give account to God. Most Christians are aware of the fact that God expects them to live holy lives. Likewise, most God-fearing Christians have learned to abstain from swearing and from the use of common profanity. I haven't met many faithful Christians who have a problem with worldly cursing. However, I have met MANY Christians who have stumbled into the Devil's trap and taken up a whole different kind of cursing. Keep reading, friend, because you just might need to "tune up" your vocabulary!

Are You Taking God's Name in Vain?

You say, "Well, my word! I wouldn't take God's name in vain!" You just did! (John 1:1) says that "the Word" was GOD! Satan tricked you, didn't he? You need to CONFESS to God that you've been taking His name in vain, and you need to REPENT of this sin!

"Well, my goodness!", you say. If you are saved then your "goodness" is none other than God Himself (Psalm 144:2). You just took His name in vain again. You have no goodness of your own (Isa. 64:6);( Rom. 3:23); (Psa. 39:5), so "my goodness" is a reference to God!

Is God pleased with this kind of speech?

Those Four-Letter Words!

You probably wouldn't think of using the word "damn" too loosely, but what about "darn" and "dang"? Do they not serve the same purpose? Is Satan not pleased to fill your mouth with such speech?

"Why, heck!" Look out there! God knows your heart, and he knows you really wanted to say "hell".

Down south folks say, "Ah, shoot!" This is nothing more than a cheap way of saying "s " Again I ask, is God pleased with this sort of speech? Is this "sound speech, that cannot be condemned"? I think not!

Swear Not!

"But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." (Mat. 5:34-37)

Jesus said "swear not," yet God's people swear all the time! Such expressions as "for Heaven's sake", "for Pete's sake", and "Heavens to Betsy" are attempts to swear by Bible subjects, which shows disrespect toward God. God's word is PURE and HOLY! Do you have a ministry or a business

Do you have a called of God ministry where your whole purpose is to "feed the sheep", and God supplies your needs, or do you have books, tapes, videos, etc. that you SELL for a "donation", or just outright SELL, and your buyers supply your needs?

There is nothing wrong with being in business and selling things. However, if you are a church or any kind of "ministry", you may want to check your motive for how you are conducting the work of the Lord.

Remember the money changers in the temple where JESUS turned over the tables and threw them out. They were selling things in the "CHURCH".
(God made it quite clear to us that we were not to charge for anything, that HE is our source.)
