Prophecy: "When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt" (Hosea 11:1).

Fulfilment: "And having risen, he took the Child and His mother by night and withdrew to Egypt, and remained there until Herod's death.

This was to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, Out of Egypt have I called My Son" (Matthew 2:14-15).
