A Manual of Instruction for teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom

Based on the book Fifty-two Kingdom Topics by Robert B. Thompson

Developed by Edward J. Reiter

Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding. (Proverbs 23:23)

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. (Matthew 13:45_46)

Anything of eternal value is worth seeking with all our heart. If we must leave behind lesser things, so be it. Without question the Gospel of the Kingdom is a pearl of great price.

The good news is the Kingdom of God is coming to the earth. It began with the birth of Jesus Christ and continued to develop through the spread of the Christian Church. Those who will install it with the return of the Lord Jesus are being formed today into an obedient, holy army of saints.

In our time, as the wheat and the tares grow to maturity side by side, it is time to forsake all which hinders our pursuit of the Kingdom of God . We must become willing to buy the truth and sell it not.

Developed from Fifty-two Kingdom Topics , this syllabus of instruction focuses our attention on that one pearl of great price, the Gospel of the Kingdom.
