13:8 What does it mean here that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever?
In this context it means that because Christ never changes, there has to also be a consistency in the Christian's walk of faith.
This refers to V 7 which exhorts believers to appreciate those who instruct them in the word of God, and to follow the example of their faith (CP V7, 17; 1Th 5:12-13).
