Contradiction #35

"I pleaded for mercy, but they ( his tormentors) had none - absolutely no mercy...No mercy existed in that place. Mercy is from God in heaven" (23 Minutes in Hell, p. 7).

Bill gives several Scriptures in Appendix A, p. 149, showing that there is mercy only in heaven, not in hell (sheol/hades). Here's one example verse: "Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens" (Psalm 36:5), suggesting that he has given us Scriptural proof that mercy exists in heaven ONLY, and that God's mercy fails to endure into the Judgment of Gehenna where we are told everyone is tortured for ever without the slightest mercy. Well, does the mercy of God and our Lord Jesus Christ lapse at some time in the future?

Let me point out here one giant flaw in orthodox teaching and theology. Bill quotes Psalm 36:5, "Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens." But Bill uses this verse to try and prove that there is mercy nowhere except in heaven. Not true. Psalm 36:5 is a statement of FACT, it is not a statement of LIMITATION. A statement of fact cannot be turned into a statement of limitation unless there are words used with the statement that LIMIT the statement. If Psalm 36:5 had said: "Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens ONLY and NOWHERE else," then the words "only" and "nowhere else" would indeed limit mercy to heaven only. But since there is no limitation in that verse, we have no authority to state that the mercy of God is found in heaven only.

"And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted" (Luke 18:13-14).

Here we have a "sinner" on the earth that Jesus Himself says was "justified" and shown "mercy" because he asked for it. So when is it too late to ever repent? When is it too late to turn to God? When is it too late for God to justify someone who "humbles himself?" Where and when does God turn his back on anyone who humbles himself and repents of his sin? Where? Give me a Scripture?

Even for those who commit a sin that is not pardoned in this age, nonetheless, will be forgiven in Judgment. It is in judgment that most of humanity will repent, and become obedient, and will learn to live righteously, and God will save them:

"for when ( No, not now, but 'WHEN') Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness" (Isaiah 26:9).

Why don't most Christians and theologians believe this Scripture and many more like it? Isaiah 26:9 is a statement of fact. I believe it, why don't you? This one Scripture alone exposes and destroys most of the major doctrines of the Church.

Yes, who will believe Isaiah?

"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" (Isaiah 53:1).

The Apostle John believed Isaiah's report, so why don't the leaders of the Church believe it:

"That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, 'Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?'" (John 12:38).

Likewise, the Apostle Paul believed Isaiah's report, so why don't the Church pastors teach Isaiah's report in Isa. 26:9:

"But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias says, Lord, who hath believed our report?" (Rom. 10:16).

And notice the second part Isaiah's admonition: "...and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" Is the Arm of the Lord only able to save for a short time or for a small number of people? Once again, Isaiah gives us the answer, but "Lord, who hath believed our report?

"...and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?'" (John 12:38).

To whom shall God's arm be revealed?

"The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of ALL THE NATIONS; and ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH shall see THE SALVATION of our God" (Isaiah 52:10).

Can we not clearly see that Bill's assertion that mercy comes only from heaven to a few people for a short period of time is totally unscriptural and fraudulent?. Can we not believe Isaiah's report that

"...when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness" (Isa. 26:9)? And that "ALL nations and ALL the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God" (Isaiah 52:10)?

Beginning in 1Chronicles 16:34, we are told to "give thanks unto the Lord because: "...He is good; for His mercy ENDURES for ever." Furthermore, no less than FORTY-TWO times we are told in Scripture that "His MERCY ENDURES," it does not lapse or come to an end for anyone. The number 42 is very significant in Scripture. Remember that it was 14 plus 14 plus 14 (42) generations which bring us to Christ the perfect Messiah.

But like the rest of Bill's writings, he isn't honest, neither does he understand the Scriptures. So according to Bill, once someone finds himself in hell (sheol/ hades) , there is no hope of any mercy from God. Here are a few more Scriptures that utterly exposes Bill's contradictions:

Psa 49:15 "But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave:H7585 for he shall receive me. Selah."

Notice the superior H7585 next to the word grave. That number indicates that the word grave was translated from the Hebrew word number 7585 in Dr. Strong's Exhaustive Hebrew Concordance and Dictionary, and here is its definition:

7585, sheol: hades or the world of the dead, grave, hell, pit.

Since Dr. Strong was an orthodox Christian theologian, he includes the spurious word "hell" in his definition of sheol. It doesn't matter, as it changes nothing in this regard. But the undeniable truth of this Scripture is that "grave" in this verse is translated from the Hebrew "sheol," which the King James translates "hell" at 31 different places in the Old Testament. And according to Bill and most Christians, this "sheol/hell" is a place of no escape, no redemption, no mercy.

Yet, according to God, His mercy "endures," and never lapses. And where is one place or condition that we know for sure there is mercy and redemption? Why IN HELL (to use their word), in the grave, in sheol, in hades, in death. Notice that this verse says, "But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave ( sheol - the King James' 'hell') ." And what does redeem mean? It means to, ransom; to release, preserve: deliver, redeem, rescue" (Strong's Hebrew Dictionary).

Bill is wrong and Bill contradicts the Scriptures. There absolutely is "mercy" in sheol (often erroneously translated hell). He LIES! "Redeem" is "redemption," and in New Testament Scriptures, redemption is virtually synonymous with "salvation" (See Rom. 3:24). And so what is so disgusting about such unscriptural heresy is that in the final analysis, the Christian doctrine of hell portrays a God of infinite capacity to torture and terrorize most of humanity, but is extremely short on showing mercy and compassion.

Should a person have the misfortune of never hearing the gospel or the Name of Jesus, too bad, off to hell with him! Or should a person come to realize at Judgment that he is a sinner and bitterly repents of all his sins, too bad, too late, off to hell with him also! And people question why I get angry at such incredibly evil swill as 23 Minutes in Hell.

Many Christians and many pastors and teachers may not know the truth regarding the Church's doctrine of eternal hell, but I guarantee you that most seminary professors and theologians know that this teaching came straight from the gates of Amente, the Egyptian underworld called "hell" in the English language.

Thomas Thayer supports Professor Stuart, Greppo's Essay, and Spineto, that: "The Amenti of the Egyptians originated the classic fables of Hades and Tartarus." (Doctrine of Eternal Punishment, Chapt. 3, P. 7). Here is just a little of how God views the theology and wisdom of Egypt. In Scripture, coming out of Egypt is synonymous with coming out of SIN. Egyptian religion is the very personification of sin. Let's read what God thinks of the "divine revelations" of truth in the nation whose very name is the personification of sin.

"Surely the princes of Zoan ( ancient city in Egypt's Delta) are FOOLS, the counsel of the wise counselors of Pharaoh is become FOOLISH: how say you unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? Where are they? Where are the wise men? And let them tell you now, and let them know what the Lord of hosts has purposed upon Egypt.

The princes of Zoan are become FOOLS, the princes of Noph ( ancient name for Memphis) are DECEIVED; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay ( the mainstay) of the tribes thereof.

The Lord has mingled a PERVERSE SPIRIT in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to ERR IN EVERY WORK THEREOF, as A DRUNKEN MAN STAGGERING IN HIS OWN VOMIT" (Isaiah 19:11-14).

Well, there you have it: "FOOLS, FOOLISH, DECEIVED, PERVERSE SPIRIT, ERR IN EVERY WORK, DRUNKEN MAN STAGGERING IN HIS OWN VOMIT." Does this sound like the kind of people and doctrines that we want to base the future destiny of the entire human race upon? Where did the now Christian doctrine of immortal souls, judgment at death, eternal punishment for the wicked, come from? From Egypt. This is a matter of well-documented history, not speculation. After God's stinging indictment against pagan Egypt, is this where we should look to fine the truth about death and the afterlife? Did Egypt have better and earlier knowledge of the afterlife than even Moses?

Nevertheless, let it be known from the Scriptures, that as vile, wicked, and disgraceful the ways of the Egyptians were, God will yet have mercy upon them. Just like wicked Jerusalem and even Sodom (Ezek. 16:55), Egypt will be saved. After God "smites and heals" Egypt in Judgment, and "sends them a Saviour" (Isa. 19:20 & 22), He will save them:

"Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, blessed by Egypt My people, and Assyria, the work of my hands, and Israel ( Notice that Israel will be the third nation to be saved behind Assyria and Egypt - Ver.24) mine inheritance" (Isa. 19:25).

It took me four pages to Scripturally expose Bill's fraud regarding God's mercy upon all humanity, so to expose the hundred or two hundred Scriptures that Bill says substantiates his theory on hell could take an additional four or five hundred pages. And rest assured, I can do it. But I will spare you. There is not one (I said not one) Scripture that Bill cites that substantiates judgment and punishment in a god-forsaken hellhole of eternal pain and terrorism without mercy or hope. This doctrine is fraud - it 's a Christian hoax! You can read more about it in great detail in my Lake of Fire series, Installment XVI, - Hell, Part C, "The Origin of Endless Punishment" found near the top of our home page.
