The significance of this is that these believers who founded the Gentile church in Antioch, did not hold any position of power in the church.
They were leaderless, unordained, unnamed, ordinary, everyday church simply fulfilling their Christian calling - winning souls to Christ - in spite of great persecution (CP Ac 8:1-4; 9:1-2).
