My Shepherd

Jesus is the Good Shepherd.

The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd; he knows me as one of his sheep and

I know him. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want. The

Lord is my Shepherd and he carries me for ever.

For I was like a sheep going astray, but now I have returned to the Shepherd and overseer of my soul. When the Chief Shepherd appears, I will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

For the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be my Shepherd; he will lead me to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from my eyes.
