Back to The Pastor's Morning Visit

This is the great end which Jehovah has in view in all that He performs.
He created and He preserves the world—that He might be glorified. He redeemed His people by the blood of His Son—to the same end.

He will be glorified in His sovereignty—always doing as He will.

He will be glorified in His supremacy—always commanding as He pleases.

He will be glorified in His wisdom—disposing of His creatures to secure His design.

He will be glorified in His grace—saving an innumerable company of the lost and wretched, "to the praise of His glorious grace!"

He will be glorified in His goodness—supplying the needs of all His creatures, though in rebellion against Him.

He will be glorified in His justice—punishing the daring impenitent offender.

"After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!" Revelation 19:1
