The gates of Jerusalem (Eze 48:30-35)
As he brings the account of his visions to a close, Ezekiel speaks again of the city.
He points out that it had twelve gates, three in each of its four sides, representing the entire people of God (Eze 48:30-34; cf. Rev 21:12-14).
Having restored his people to their land and re-established their national and religious life according to his perfect plan, God now dwells with them for ever (Eze 48:35; cf. Rev 21:23).
