What is Concerned Action?
It is where three Christians regularly come together to pray for God to move in the lives of their friends or relatives who have needs and do not yet know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Matthew 18:19-20
"Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

How does it work?
Each person in the group writes on this card the names of three people they will commit to pray for. When the Concerned Action group comes together each person prays for their three and the others stand in agreement according to Matthew 18:19-20.

The people I'm praying for are:

.....................................................1.
.....................................................2.
.....................................................3.

Suggestions for seeking God:

 1. Agree on a time to meet regularly.
 2. Meet weekly if possible. A suggestion is that you agree to meet each Sunday, 30 minutes before the morning church service.
 3. A lengthy meeting time is not necessary.
 4. When you meet, read out the names of the people you are praying for. (A total of nine people.)
 5. Pray for the personal needs of those on your list.
 6. You can pray together silently or aloud.
 7. Pray daily for the people on your list.
 8. Believe for God to move and He will.

From Prayer to Action:

 • Cultivate friendships with those you are praying for.
 • Invite them home for a social visit (i.e. dinner, barbecue or other).
 • Make a genuine effort to get to know them and their needs.
 • Specifically pray that they will come to an evangelistic outreach service or meeting.
 • Invite them to come with you to the meeting.
