Contradiction #10

How quiet was it?

Bill assures us that it is completely "silent" in Hell:

"But the wicked shall be silent in the darkness" (I Sam. 2:9).

"The dead do not praise the Lord, nor any who go down into silence" (Psalm 115:17).

We already checked out the "darkness," so now let's see what Bill's contradictions have to say about it being "silent" in Hell:

"I was horrified as I heard the screams of an untold multitude of people crying out in torment" (p. 8).

"The flames of her ravenous appetite were never satisfied with the pitiful screams of untold multitudes" (p. 21).

"The screams from the condemned souls were deafening and relentless" (p. 22).

Wow, "screams of an untold multitude, crying out, pitiful screams of untold multitudes, screams from the condemned souls, deafening and relentless." Doesn't sound like a very "silent" place to me. I'm thinking that Bill's definition of "silent" and the Scripture's definition are two totally different things.

Contradiction #11

Remember that Bill's Hell is located 3,700 miles straight down in the middle of the earth. Yet we are to believe that there is also "soil, ground, rocks, and earth" down there. And something else: A sky-that's right; there is a "sky" in Bill's Hell:

"I looked off to my right and could faintly see flames from afar off that dimly lit the skyline" (p. 10).

"The skyline was barely visible" (p. 10).

"...flames that lit up the skyline enough to see the landscape of Hell" (Script p.5).

"...just stone, dirt and black sky, and smog in the skylight" (Script, p. 5).

American Heritage College Dictionary: "skyline, 1. The line along which the earth and the sky appear to meet; horizon." "sky, 1. The expanse of air over a given part of the earth; the upper atmosphere as seen from the earth's surface." And "skylight, Light from the sky."

So how do we get a "sky" down in the middle of the earth? How do we have a "skyline" in the middle of the earth? Maybe this "skyline" goes along with the "scenery" that Bill saw in his cell: "I believe the Lord's presence was there for me to see the scenery better, but then it got dark after about a minute" (23 Minutes in Hell, from the written Script, p. 4). I marvel that a single person of normal intelligence could ever believe a single word of this man's contradictory nonsense.

Contradiction #12

One mile or three miles?

"I could see there was flames of fire, about 10 miles away from me. I knew it was 10 miles. And a pit of fire, about 3 miles across" (Script, p. 5).

"But there are just certain things you know in Hell. You understand, like I was saying, the depths, how far away and so forth" (p. 6).

Oh really? Bill describes this exact same scene in his book as follows: "I knew the flames were coming from a large pit, a gigantic ranging inferno approximately one mile in diameter and about ten miles away. This was just one of the many things I simple knew. My senses were keener" (23 Minutes, p. 10).

Well apparently Bill's senses weren't too much keener, as he missed the diameter of the fire pit by 200 per cent. He "knew" it was "about 3 miles across," and he "knew" that it was "one mile in diameter." Somehow Bill "knows" that his contradictions and lies are true.

Contradiction #13

There is no communication with others in hell.

1. "I wanted to talk and interact with someone. But to have an intelligent conversation-or simply any conversation-with a human being, now so valued, was completely unattainable" (23 Minutes, p. 12).

2. "I desperately wanted to talk to a human being, but I knew I would never get that chance. You are kept from any kind of fellowship, conversation, or human interaction" (p. 25).

3. "Each pit ( of fire) was no more than three to five feet across and four to five feet deep-each pit holding a single lost soul" (p. 30).

So Bill gives us three distinct statements that back his premise that there is absolutely no fellowship, conversation or human interaction in Hell. And to absolutely assure that no one can speak with another, God puts no more than one single person into each fire pit. But then, if one is a careful reader, he will also find three statements that absolutely contradict his three statements above.

Perhaps Bill had forgotten what he published on page 21 of his book:

1. "I found myself next to an enormous pit ( singular pit) with raging flames of fire...The flames of her ravenous appetite were never satisfied with the pitiful screams of untold multitudes." I reckon if they could hear each other's screams, they would also be able to have and hear conversations with each other also.

2. "I saw many people reaching out of the pit of fire ( a singular pit with many people) desperately trying to claw their way out" (p. 29).

3. And on page 134 Bill agrees with Dr. Grant Jeffrey even though Dr. Jeffrey disagrees with Bill: "Imagine that there were no guards or cell bars to protect you from the rage and cruelty of the merciless criminals ( plural) who shared your jail."

So there is absolutely no contact, conversation, or interactions with others in hell, yet we are told that there are multitudes of people in the same singular pit, and that criminals "share" their jail cells with each other.
